I really hope you all can gain support from this and anything you can relate to. I want to help as much people as I can!

Very very relatable video, my coming out story is so similar to yours. I became really sick and lost about 3 stone in 2 weeks because of it. When I eventually came out it was such a relief. You'll never come out to everyone all at once. You've got to give it time and find the right moments. You'll know when you're ready, I know it sounds so broad and typical but it's true. You get this feeling and then you know it's time and you'll get it at different times with different people. This video is the most real coming out video I've seen. Well done 👍
Great video and excellent advice. It is important, I think, that these sorts of videos are made to help others. I agree that accepting it yourself is the first and sometimes difficult step. Having been through it, my view is that most of the angst for most people is the worry about how other people will react. I hope everything goes well for you in the future.

You are an amazingly strong person, which doesn't mean you aren't scared, but you took the steps to say it publicly and help others. It speaks volumes to you as a person and the type of man you have become. On your own you will do awesome things with your life. The person that is fortunate to come into your life is the real winner; they will be fortunate to have someone like you. Very best!

Ky, What a great vid! I can relate from a small town also, but as soon as college age, I left and never returned. Live in NYC and love being free and recommend your moving if and when you can.Thanks for publishing your story for many people in smaller towns especially.

This was great. Very relatable, very true. The details differ, but some things are in common when we start realizing we're gay, go through dealing with it, and eventually come out. Depression and anxiety over whether others will accept you can be one of those common threads. But you hit on an important point, that there's also a struggle for self-acceptance, and that might be the hardest part. There are also plenty of people who are gay (LGBT, etc.) who are also questioning or closeted and unsure if they can come out. This contributes to that feeling of looking around and saying, "Am I the only one around here?" when really, there are others near you who are gay too, but they are just as unsure about telling anyone yet.
It took me years longer before I came out. I wish I would've come out in high school or at least in college. I would've done much better in college (university) if I'd come out then. Live and learn. I was one of those guys a lot of people said was gay, but I was struggling with it and didn't accept it for a long time. Hmm, there were clues even as a pre-teen, so I think it's built in.

Thank you sweetheart for letting us in on your life and CONGRATS on your coming out story. I have seen MANY of theses videos and what impresses me about you kids about coming out is the strength and heart in which you do it. In my day it was not like that...I have been out and proud for about 30 years now and the coming out process is so different than what I was used to...to me I think I came out late in life when I was 27....but I came out...and even though friends and family figured it out way before I did, I was blessed with a great coming out experience with the help and support I needed. In this day in age NO ONE should be afraid to come out..... society has put a stigma on us who do want to come out....but now it is most accepting and loving even though we live in such turbulent times....NEVER let being gay define who you are and NEVER let ANYONE treat you less than you are. I'm viewing this in 2020 and I imagine and hope things have continued to work out well for you. I wasn't able to come out to myself and others until I was 31 years old. I got very good at hiding my true feelings and living to please others rather than myself. I developed a serious back problem however and that became the vehicle for identifying a level of stress that I was trying to cope with. Some counseling and some physical therapy helped me to meet both myself and other men by joining a gym. I encountered a fellow who asked me the right questions, the ones that would reveal my real feelings That started my path to clarity. You have traveled far on your own at a relatively young age and done this sometimes difficult task very well. Congratulations. Hope things continued to improve and that you met someone to love. XO

I certainly commend your bravery for having come out. I, as someone who is also gay, can definitely relate to that underlying uncertainty in regard to how others may react upon finding out (or at the very least suspecting) that you are gay. It certainly was difficult for me to be honest with not only myself but also friends and family, especially since I have always been such an anxious person. People must understand that so many individuals hide their true selves; no one deserves to have to live in such a manner, but you have taken a step towards living a happier life. Best wishes.

It breaks my heart to know that you have suffered. You have such a beautiful soul. I’m gay and I struggled too. I finally came out 3 years ago and it’s been much better since. I would guess that you’re about 18 year and going off to college. That’s often a good time to come out when you don’t know anyone at school and most people are more mature. But never come out until you are ready and feel safe.
I assume things are already better for you since you made this video 4 years ago. Things will continue to get better. Be proud of being gay. You’re special. Find a boyfriend and it will make your life so much happier. It will open up a whole new world for you. Much love. ❤️🌈⚡️💥

My experience is that gays in their puberty years tend to be loners, even if they have friends.and that is understandable, we are the minority. After 18 it gets better but to be honest, it never will be perfect. But most of us nevertheless find their way in life more or less.

I'm seeing this 3 years later and am truly impressed. A question (assuming you might look at recent comments on occasion). I've been to the UK several times and I find your accent almost American English. I met some folks from the north of England and was struck by the same thing. A lot of words were pronounced as they are (more or less) on my side of the Atlantic. So, are you from the North? Also you remind me of the lovable Ben Wishaw. I also liked the way the sun shone on and off in your room as clouds passed by. I hope you are doing well and have a boyfriend :) I'm subscribing and hope I can find more of your videos.

I know you made this a bit ago, but I grew up in a small farm town of less than 300. And ur either family or know everyone and its 2020 and still not acceptable in there eyes, so I know how it is. I had to move to be myself but when I go back I have to play this stronge military guy that I left as. So I feel u in The small town big guy

Are all small white towns like this?!? It seems that whether it’s in the UK of the US...it’s REALLY hard to come out of the closet. I live in Honolulu, Hawai’i which is a city of almost 1 million people...but we do have smaller cities and towns, but our populations are VERY mixed, only 21.5% white...and my gay friends from small towns are embraced and accepted, so it’s sad for me to hear these stories. 😓🏳️🌈🤙🏽 I hope that you find happiness and love ‘cause you seem like you have an AMAZING soul! 👍🏽
