That is not a worm screw hole it is a .....wait for it ... an ash hole. ha ha The older I get I find I am turning into my Dad. You are right about confidence . I used to turn a lot years a go and fell off the turning hobby. Now I am trying to get back in the game and the brain says no problem you did this before but the muscle memory is gone so It is like starting al over again. I forgot what a touchy feely thing wood turning is. After a few good catches I am apprehensive about doing it again to be honest. But the only way to get that feeling back is to do it. Watching a lady that runs a school, can't think of a name, has her students turn a bowl blank to shavings to get the feel of things. She is a proponent of the 40-40 type cuts so that exercise gets people the feel for it. Love these type videos for me. I will put it in my "woodturning tech talk" folder. Maybe you will do one for the inside to go along with this one. I can't buy your tool sets so I made my own by buying a set from a tool maker in the US and touching up the bar for clearance to work on your demo cuts and it is working. You had s chisel you said if you could have only one this would be it. I watched the cutter and now have one on a round bar. I think it was your deep hollower but I could be wrong. Yea I now I should shut up so thanks till next. time.

That's what these videos are for. To help you to build your confidence and learn to turn with no catches. Thanks for watching.

I’ve learnt again and seen where I’m going wrong. I’ve been starting on the outside going in rather than the inside going out.
Gonna try this at the weekend if I get time.
    Thank you 👍🏻

I do wish I could buy your tools here in the states. That being said are all carbide tools made the same or are yours different
