My kiddo has been at a Gracie gym for about 4 months now and it has been incredible for her. She goes to a special school for gifted children, and things have always come a little bit easier for her in those areas than most. Because of that, we’ve been afraid that she might not be well equipped to handle adversity when it inevitably comes when she’s older. We don’t want her to be someone who gives up. we know that she’s intellectually strong, but she needs to be strong in her heart as well and Gracie has been incredible for that. Anxiety is way down and her confidence and determination have skyrocketed. Can’t say enough about the Gracie way.
I have 8 yr old twins that have been training for 3 years. They love it, they stand up for their friends if they are getting bullied. Jiujitsu is amazing
My son does Judo and boxing from 4 years on..He is 8 right now.

I used to practice Karate in elementary school. One of my classmates ended up hurting this bully on the playground.
I ended up getting into a fight and I kicked this kid in the stomach and that was the end of the fight, but then he started getting his homies and talking about how he had access to a gun. I dropped out of Junior High School in Los Angeles because of that, and my friend got shot, and it was just on and on and on.
I practice Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi now and stay away from fights.
