There is a video by coffee and cults “Everything you don’t know about the cast of that 70’s show” theory that Kutcher lied in his statement that he hadn’t seen the body or entered the apartment so would have created reasonable doubt for a jury. Any defense attorney would have torn that DNA evidence apart and the prosecutors knew that and didnt want to risk the killer getting off.

If they arrested him with only the DNA which could be explained away by just every day contact the two had, then a jury would most likely find him not guilty. And he'd walk free and be unable to be charged with the crime again. Im sure it wasnt an easy decision for the prosecutor

When was it again that she told of this alleged speakerphone conversation to the LAPD? I'm sure she has a copy of the police report she so valiantly made that night back in Feb of 2001. We can call it a hero's report. She did what's right and said I care more about doing the proper and moral thing than not rocking the boat so I can continue to have Danny spend money on me. She should be so proud of herself. Prosecutors in LA already were firmly connecting the dots about who the real suspect in the 1993 and 2001 murders was by 2003 at the latest, and so who were all of the people really who allegedly kicked the can down the road of bringing these cases to justice and preventing more murders from happening?

@@lorir5728 the police department confirmed he did lie. He saw the body. He was in there. His lies made it to where the killer wasn't prosecuted. He sat in her driveway for an hour with "his team" and Danny Masterson. Was instructed to leave and go to the party with said story as he said in court. This all came out from one the victimes who dated him during that time when Kutcher called Masterson. She has since put that notion on blast. It has been confirmed by LAPD that he did lie and all those details. Why the killer was able to kill again then attempt murder. If he would've called 911 then they would've been faster on it and a woman wouldn't be dead. They had plans it it happened before he arrived to take her out.

This is so well produced I initially thought I was watching a TV documentary. As others have said I also appreciate your respectful tone when speaking of the victims, you present the facts without sensationalising.
I am stunned that this despicable psychopath was not arrested from the very beginning. At the very least having been found near the scene of several murders, surely the police could have placed a watch on him. You would also think with the high profile Hollywood stars acquainted with Ashley that there would have been a bit of momentum going towards solving the case. I hate to say this, but as much as I dislike the trial by public opinion, I think if it happened today there would be so much social media interest and paparazzi chasing Ashton that it would only take a short time till people started noting MG’s involvement.
I still cannot get over how this guy was left to walk the streets with all this evidence against him. It just boggles the mind. Those poor women would still be alive today.
Anyway, thank you for your hard work in putting such a classy and respectful production together.

    Another stellar job girls!
The lone survivor of this monster & a crucial part of how she was able to do it (besides her resisting fully & fighting w/all she had) needs to be a valuable lesson for all ladies!!!
While it's generally accepted men tend to have greater upper body strength, the polar opposite can often be said for women's lower body including your hips, buttocks, & thighs! Not only that, they are the strongest muscles in your body so if attacked & you don't have a weapon on your person (you should!) use them as weapons to your advantage!
I truly believe this killer is a total coward. Up until this last victim he'd easily overwhelmed these women w/his upper body strength. Then despite just 5'1" she resists fully grappling w/him to the floor on her back, & uses a method well regarded in self-defense circles of feet together cocking legs close to her body & pushing off w/all her might. I think the sudden & explosive power this maneuver provides he did not expect from such a petite woman & like any coward preying on the "easy" it scared him off.
FWIW, a similar tactic is used by Raptors(like hawks & owls) as a last resort against ANY threat if they cannot escape. They lay on their back w/those vise-like feet & deadly talons in a protective position ready to strike like a snake.
Do not underestimate this as your go-to weapon against an attacker ladies! Keep in mind, one well-placed kick on your back like this can knock your attacker clean out or seriously injure them. They want no more, & it'll give you chance to escape to safety!

    • @chilenapromedioRU
      @chilenapromedioRU 11 місяців тому

Not all women are "fit", like the victims of this disgusting killer. Also, he may have attacked from the back too. And don't forget the psychological factor that's not easy to control: fight/flight/froze. It made me remind one of the victims of the Colorado and Washington serial rapist, who throw herself from her window and even broke several bones on the fall to avoid being raped.
Every woman is different. Michelle is not only a survivor, she's a fighter and she's the one who was able to make justice for the other victims.

I watch these videos a lot about innocent victims, young ladies , because my only child, a daughter, and her daughter, all grown up, my only grandchild live in S. California, And I m in the Midwest. Far away. Both beautiful young, and both sweethearts. So many predators out there
    Too many. 😢

Michael Gargiulo is the worst form of coward there is because he won't admit he's guilty and deserves the sentence he was given. He did everything he was tried for so he should just be a "man" and accept it. My deepest condolences and sympathies go to all the families and friends of all the victims of this no good coward.

How tragic that this monster was allowed to carry on these horrifying murders even after his DNA was found?
This must make it even more painful for poor families.

The story about Ashton has changed. He is a creeper. Apparently he saw her body and was more concerned about his career. Could he have saved her? Maybe, probably not. Chrissy Bixlsr has a story.

Because of Ashton's lies cops weren't able to persecute Michael Gargiulo and he went on to kill again a few years later... Ashton Kutcher is DISGUSTING and I hope that the family of the 3rd victim will sue him

So it turned out that Ashton Kutcher lied and the cops knew it, he did enter the home and saw Ashley lying on the floor in a pool of blood but decided to not report it because he was worried it would have affected his career negatively, apparently he still wasn't famous back then but his career was blooming and he didn't want to be known as "the actor who found his gf murdered" or something.. what a scumbag

that michelle was very brave to do what she did, this guy had been under the police radar for years and yet nothing was done about it, those poor girls who didnt survive must have been so scared rip to them all
it sounds like this guy has some sort of personality disorder, making up stories, being obsessed with ted bundy, he was one messed up guy and i cant believe it took 15 years for them to finally pit him to trial ! how can the defence stand there and say there is no evidence he killed ashley, he was known to her, he was stalking her, showing up wherever she was,
