Your formula #3 is my fall uniform. jeans, sweater, ankle boots. I can change the coat according to weather but 90% of the time this is what I am wearing if I leave the house.
What to do when the outfit needs the outer layer (wool coat) to complete it?? I’d look great on my way to work but a bit boring once I shed my outer layer. Am guessing that formula is best for an outside-only occasion
It said it so well. Either at home or work we are not wearing our outer wear inside. So referring to a tee and pants then the outerwear and handbags get put away and then I’m left in a boring top and pants “outfit” Marcile
The problem for me is that jeans are the most uncomfortable garment I’ve ever tried, I just never found a pair I could stand in the last fifty years. Recently I tried men’s and found a pair I can wear, if necessary. Most women wear them everyday, but I only wear them when I absolutely have to, like when going into rugged, brushy areas, and that’s not very often.
Try Woman Within mail order catalogues, the fit is very good, and their jeans and denim pieces wear well and look nice. Sometimes they offer discounts and free mailing. So comfortable!!!
I agree. Jeans are instruments of torture to me. I wear good quality stretchy bootleg trousers instead. They achieve the same thing. Casual with trainers and smart with nice boots. I usually buy two lengths to accommodate the different shoes. They are as comfy as pyjamas.
I wear chinos instead in summer or in winter I wear wool trousers. I love denim shirts, but the trousers are for standing or sitting, but not for both.
It’s from Le Pirol! A Danish slow fashion brand that is sadly closing 😞 saw it as a good opportunity to send them a final bit of love while also replacing my old similar turtleneck I bought almost 10 years that was starting to fray at the edges 😅🙏🏻❤️ it’s a men’s jumper but I took my usual size and it fits perfect 👌
