Quentin Collins and Gerard Stiles as Ghosts have one main thing in common, whoever is possessed but is fearful and wants to speak 🗣️ out is suddenly silenced by the appearance by either one of them.
Oh! This is the episode where Chris and Barnabas find the little coffin in the woods! And where Barnabas finds the pentagram pendant in the coffin! I just watched the video that comes after this one, and got confused. Good story, so far! ~Janet in Canada
Most housekeepers are never required to participate in seances. I guess that at Collinwood it's just part of the job. Clarice Blackburn knocks it out of the park once again.
We never saw what eventually happened to Mrs. Johnson’s ne’er-do-well son, Harry. Did Harry straighten up and get his act together or did Harry start hanging out with Buzz Hackett and the other guttersnipes in Collinsport? In addition, Mrs. Johnson had a married daughter, who lived in another town. Did Mrs. Johnson’s daughter also experience any of the sort of supernatural occurrences, that her mother and brother experienced while living in Collinsport?
@@BethHarmon-uv7tl Well, at least old Harry was more interesting and certainly dressed much better than the ghost of Dameon Edwards in Parallel Time 1979, the ghost, who walked around Collinwood in that truly garish, ugly-@ssed orange leisure suit of his. Thankfully, PT Angelique got rid of that atrociously-attired spirit very quickly.
Aren't they concerned about whom the infant was? Not that they can help it now, but I know I would want to at least say a prayer for it. And at least think about doing something. UPDATE: they do show at least some concern. 👍🏼
I'm with Mrs. Johnson, there's nothing ordinary about those two children!! They are in cahoots with the ghosts of Beth and Quentin! Someone mentioned in other comments that the ring Barnabas wears changes hands, so I'm going to watch very carefully! lol! ~Janet (who is still alive) in Canada
That's why the 40 room me mansion is haunted and most citizens of Collins Port are afraid to go near Collinwood. Sam Evans said he looked up at Collinwood from down below by the entrance and he told Burke that Mansion has Ghosties,Ghoulies, Long legged Beasties and things that go bump in the night. 🌃
I’m glad Barnabas lost that drab and depressing-looking brown suit, he wore in this DS episode, Usually, Barnabas wore a classic-looking navy blue, three-piece suit on the show, If DS had remained on the air into the mid-1970s, I wonder if Dan Curtis would have insisted that Barnabas wear one of those truly gruesome polyester leisure suits, that many American men wore during that God-awful “Disco Period” in our past history?
@@melodiefrances3898 On the Dark Shadows Forums a few years ago, one especially creative DS fan posted that famous photo of John Travolta and Karen Lynn Gorney dancing in “Saturday Night Fever” and replaced their heads with those of Barnabas (in a Tony Manero leisure suit) and Julia Hoffman (in a 1970s disco dress). It was very funny!
“We need to have a séance.” Uh, Professor, last time we had one of those, it didn’t go well.
Well, at least no one was thrust back to another century this time.
Long live Jonathan Frid and Kathryn Leigh Scott, my favorite Dark Shadows leading man and leading lady; the latter who’s still beautiful at 80 😍
Inside and out.

I feel like the Collins family were never snobs. Thus the housekeeper had equal status in séance participation. Gosh I love this show.
😂😂😂
@@kensellers4082 Harry pretty much pulled a disappearing act after 1897. We never find out what happened to him.
Frankly, I didn't miss him.

Earth Fire Wind Air and Spirit
They shouldn't have built Collinwood on that graveyard.
😂that is the truth
