How hard and long does it take to install the Epoch 48V golf cart battery and SOC meter? This video displays how to mount the lithium golf cart battery into a six seater EZGO TXT.
Our favorite feature the Epoch 48V battery kit is the remote On/Off power switch. The addition of the remote switch makes it easy to prevent the golf cart battery from over discharge when cart is not being used.

Is this a DIY friendly battery install? Because the Epoch 48V is sold as a kit, we believe anyone can do this installation with the help of a friend.
The hardest part of the 48V battery kit install was locating a place to mount the Epoch SOC (state of charge) battery meter. A GlowShift Universal Black Single Gauge Mounting Bracket was needed to locate the meter under the EZGO cup holder.
If you have read this far, then here is a tip, only install the SOC and remote On/Off harness into the battery after the golf cart positive and negative cables are installed.
