I lifted mine too, all of my cv axles came apart when I pryed down on the control arms to fit the spring in... my two front cv axles lasted less than 5k miles before they were shot.. I'm at about 8kmiles on the new ones and all is good👍 cheers cool build dude
I accidentally over did it. Didn't account for the suspension geometry so lifted it like 3-4 inches instead of my intended 2.5, even then I offroaded it on some tough trails and it lasted me a while. I blew up 2 axles by jumping it but I'm sure that's not ur intentions😅
Yea i mean i do wanna whip it down some trails but prolly not jump anything crazy im curious did you find a company that makes extended cv axels im going to end up doing the flat out lift coilovers and those max at 3” lift over atock
@@rallycrossbuilds damn really and no problems? I thought that would chuck a lot of fumes and gasses inside the car, not to sure? but will consider trying it.. what year is urs because I don't know if yours was the same but mines a full exhaust piece so I'll have to cut then re-weld. Which I got no problem doing though😭
@@the_mate3354 mine was an 06, also solid exhaust so I cut it to hollow second cats and then cut off the muffler, the main cats clean the fumes good secondary are just backups and to me didn't bother me with any extreme fumes, and burbled when downshifted was kinda sick
What year was yours and model? Mine is an 06 with 141k miles and running strong. With any BMW you need to set aside 2k a year on maintenance. Stay on top of it and it’ll run forever. Of course, every brand has a few lemons that get through. Sorry about your experience brother.
Action always speak louder than words! Love it!

I blew my front driver's axle twice from jumping it 🤣 but otherwise dailies it without issues
Man, it's look brutal!
Super fun car to drive, breaks necks left and right 😂
You’re a talented individual man. Nice job.
Thanks man!
The X3 looks great.
What rims and spacers did you end up using? total offset ET?
Tyre size?
Im sure there are a few people who would love to try this
Thanks! I ran some jeep rims and got adapters off ebay 5x4.75 to 5x5, I'm not sure the offset on them but tires were 32x10.5r16 I belive
Do you fabricatw lift kits? I need 4 inch for a bmw x3 2019?
What shocks did you go for ?
The rear I used pro comp shock of a land cruiser I believe, just found some on ebay measured what travel I need and it worked out well
Hows the suspension travel and longevity of this thing? Im lookin to lift mine a little bit to hit some trails

Fucking Love it bro!
Yo what exhaust do you have on her? I’m trying to find one for my x3 e83 2004 and I’m struggling to find anything on market
So what I did is took out the muffler and hollowed out the secondary cats, sounded good cuz not obnoxious or too quiet
