I made a button for it because I live in a hilly area and when I go up I engage 4x4. My question is if the engine runs and I remove and insert the fuse do the warning lights stay on?

Yes!! I have an 06 4.7 V8 SR5...with the full time 4wd (which nobody believes till they look it up) is LEGIT...but with tracks...its BADASS!! Tracks are an investment I'm already saving for. 🤙🤙 Congrats!!!

You will want to look at forums for that, I'm not sure
Provided yours isn't the really early one with a fixed transfer box, then yes it works. I've been running my 2004 6sp diesel in rwd for over a year now without issues. If your transfer box doesn't have the motorised actuator on the side then it won't workmfor you. They introduced the variable ratio transfer boxes on the E53 during 2003.
i dont have a fuse 26 on the paper it says 12,33 and smth else pls try n tell me which fuse it is
Make sure your looking at the right fuse box, also this was a 3.0, not sure if there's a different on other models

I put probably 15k in the sas alone, but that was with all the overpriced parts and a shop doing labor, definitely could get parts on much better budget and do yourself and cut that price to 1/3 probably

hey man, you should look into Tinkerer’s Adventure’s breakdown on how to properly lift Toyota IFS. the body lift is nice but anything over 2-2.5 inches of lift is essentially just having your IFS at full droop constantly. you’ll recognize a much more balanced ride if you keep ~2 inches of lift and try to fit the biggest tires possible
How did you keep the rear bumper stock with the body
With the 2in body lift , I just did my 05 with an 1 1/2 body lift and the bumper look tweeked
Just had to cut the little tabs off that press into the hitch, and it seemed to sit pretty good

Were did you get the body lift from was it a 3 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift combined 6 inches ?
It was 3 inch FJ suspension but sat more like 4. And then 2 inch body lift
