How the hell did this movie get so much hate?? Emotional plot, great acting, outstanding writing, what more do people want? Do some people have a heart of stone or something? This film still makes me cry, and that is NOT the sign of a bad film.
My case was worse, I watched the first half of Michael Keaton's Jack Frost and then the second half of the killer Jack Frost, so imagine my confusion when I saw that the friendly snowman turned into a sociopath murder XD
Fun fact,in the french version (since the dub voice can be different from the actual actor) they chose the voice of Robin Williams instead of Micheal Keaton , it is weirdly fitting.
I used to see this movie on the trailer reel of practically every WB VHS release in the late '90s/early '00s. Never actually saw it until today. My mother recently passed away, and given the subject matter, I thought this might be the perfect movie to watch to kind of pick me up and warm my heart. Add to that that I've always been a Michael Keaton fan anyway, it seemed ideal. I wasn't disappointed.
Honestly this is great film that tells a story of a loved one who dies unexpectedly his family never got to say goodbye or tell them I love you, Charlie and his mother lost Jack in a cat accident and mourned his death then Charlie played his harmonica Jack gave him, he comes back to life and spends time with his son again before he has to let him go. It was the hardest choice they had to make but at least they got to say goodbye and I love you to Jack before his spirit went to heaven, for all those who experienced tht loss of losing a family member that wished they could spend more time with their loved ones before letting them go thats what this movies message is about. I recommend watching this film to give that feeling that no matter what family will always come through and you may get your second chance to be together again
@@markwalmsley5892 on a lot of them it’s very rare a sequel can be pulled off like the new cobra Kai show to me honestly is how they finally got a sequel right sequels should be done with original actors
I loved this movie but it should be mentioned along with other xmas movies like Home Alone among others at Xmas. This movies very very good. Michael Keaton best in this movie
Another example of a great 90s film that failed to perform because snooty critics gave it a bad review. Siskel & Ebert were the worse thing to happen in film history.

The ones that hate it, their dads probably went out for milk and never came back.
Maybe because they were probably bad reviews because mabye the kids thought the snowman was too scary
The snowman is scary
this movie SCARED me as a child
I think it was mis marketed
This film NEVER fails to make me cry.
Emily Clarkin omg same I'll always cry to this
Atleast im not the only one that uses a box of tissues on this movie i bawl like a baby everytime
Yes i feel it especially the ending when his wife see's him transcending
Especially during the scene with the Stevie nicks song "landslide"

This film is pretty good when drinking a 30 pack of beer by yourself .
Are you a Achoholic?
Ana :P it’s avious
He means it brings him back to that old time when we watched that movie as a kid. Just reminiscing...
*as a kid for the first time.
That's because after a 30 pack of beer the snowman looks real.
That Is A Real Children's Movie
If you just go a half step in a different direction, this becomes a horror movie.
There is a slasher movie from the same time with the same title.

2019 Rules forever im Michael Keaton forever he's the best 👍.
George Clooney pulled out of this movie way after production started. That's his face on the snowman.
For real?
Thank goodness he pulled out
