- That's the story of how Ford nearly completely killed the Mustang by attempting to transform it from America's most iconic pony car into a front-wheel-drive turd, which they then turned into the Ford Probe and then developed the SN95 Mustang, but not after also testing the SN95 as a front-wheel-drive V8 powered car.

They should make it longitudinally mounted engine front wheel drive, to solve the torque steer issue with equal length driveshafts and get a 5.0L V8 to destroy the Honda Civic Type R.
I had a 1993 Probe GT. That car was truly a fantastic car to drive. It had a cockpit type of dash layout, very spiffy DOHC V-6, 5 speed manual and truly great handling. I easily had that Probe GT over 140mph and it was rock solid and whipped in and out of turns like a boss. If I had a large pole barn. A second gen Probe GT would reside in it. Great video as always!!🤟
Probe GT with a manual was kind of amusing to drive. It's no Mustang GT by any stretch of the imagination.
i heard ford is killing off the mustang coupe. i also heard they are killing off their sedans and concentrating only on the small suv such as mustang mach-e and the trucks
The same year Probe GT (turbo 2.2) would smoke a stock Mustang, and after owning both, much better built.
The fox body mustang is the best mustang in my opinion.
Definitely one of my favorites! Had one when I was 17 with a built 306ci, super fun car.

i do like the mustang but i still admire the other pony cars and how there are fazing out now. its unfortunate.
