I saw three videos on how to fix my shark steam mop that wasn't giving me any steam. One said to use a paper clip to unclog it. One said to use a vinegar and water solution and, one video showed me how to dissemble the whole thing. The only one that really worked was the one that told me to use vinegar and water that took care of it right away! I am so happy 😃! Thank you sooo much! 😘
These mops are still clogging like this... I can only imagine how much wasted work I've done without it cleaning! Mine has just very low steam but enough for me to keep going and I'm not doing it anymore. I poured vinegar in it to sit overnight and we'll see, hop it works. Thanks for sharing!
@@blessedandbeautiful8365 No, vinegar didn't do much so I used CLR and I think that may have worked better. But it's still not like it was when I first bought it with a big puff of steam. I might get a new one (look for another brand) and only use distilled water and never leave water in the tank when I'm done... I just don't know what else to do?
Have a different version of the Shark. Took it apart. Removed four screws holding the pump and tank outlet. Lifted the pump assembly up and the o ring sealed plastic tank pump elbow There is a yellow prescreen on the pump elbow that had accumulated water “snot”. Flushed out the pump elbow prescreen, reassembled and it steamed like new. Just a filter restriction. Use distilled water.
4 years later and still making an impact. Thanks for the info🤗

I always use distilled water it hasn’t clogged up since I been using it.
Going to try this technique tonight. Hope it does the job
Is it distilled vinegar or white vinegar???
Thanks for your information
If you use half clr and water will work much better
Thanks
