How to make | Cardboard Colt SINGLE ACTION ARMY | Fully Functional | Ultra-realistic

- This has been my masterpiece so far, definitely the one I enjoyed making the most. As you all know, I absolutely love Old West! I've been wanting to make a realistic Colt SAA for some time.
This project is all mine. I designed and drew each part based on pictures and specifications from the internet.
It took me exactly 40 days since I started drawing it until it was finished.
It features all the same parts and mechanisms a real one does, including a rotating cylinder.
You may download and print the templates, but you may not edit or modify it by any means, nor remove the watermarks, neither sell or distribute it.
Everything is 100% cardboard and paper, except for the springs and woodsticks used for the pins.
The painting is done using graphyte powder.
The glue used is white glue and super glue.
This is a work of art. You may try to replicate it, but no instructions are going to be given apart from this tutorial.
Be aware of laws in your country concerning realistic gun replicas. I take no responsibility for the misuse of this project. This is done entirely for artistic purposes.

On the channel homegun maker rode a stranger one fine day. Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn’t have to much to say. No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip. For the stranger there among them had a big cardboard on his hip.
i really love how you make it look realistic and it is amazing that it is made from cardboard and papers except some mechanic features that requires other materials but overall, it is soo great. COOL WILD WILD WEST! New Sub here :)

Now to figure out how to make it , and I'll be making a western movie.
Obviously a joke , but I wish I could. Mostly because I loved the movie The Good , The Bad and The Ugly , as well as the game Red Dead Redemption (not 2) , because there is a good feeling of holding a 6 shooter and killing your enemies in one second.
Would be perfect if you make a realistic Winchester model 1873. Goes in par with that gun (the Single Action Army)

I've made it for art project and it's very great. Though it's not as perfect as yours, but with few modifications like added firing pin using bamboo chopstick and spring bullets, i can make it able to shoot too.
I thougt paper not strong.. Thanks for sharing your design. Its awesome man..

Eu fiz isso, ela foi toda reforçada com super bonder. Cada peça eu dou um banho de super bonder, espero secar e lixo com lixa 320, fica duro igual pedra

Not much. The cardboard was from shor boxes and stuff. The most expensive thing was the 5 tubes of super glue. The paing was some leftover I had, and the graphyte is ridiculously cheap.
It’s much more about the time and effort in making it, about 40 days
YOU JUST TURNED CARDBOARD INTO METAL????
So if you live in America you cannot get A4 printer paper, you can get standard letter printer paper though... However there is a slight change in the dimensions of some of the pieces. The main pieces to note are cylinder piece a which is reduced to 7.5 mm and cylinder piece b which is reduced to 6.5 mm the rest of the cylinder can be shortened according to the reference picture given with said pieces because it is a full scale
When you print the files you just have to select scaling/shrinking to none, and it will print it in real size (it might get cropped on the edges but probably not since I left some margins)

I get that I could use a drill , but I'm not really good with that. Maybe just use a pen or a pencil and drive it through it?
When you’re cutting the individual layers you can cut each hole using a cutting tool or scissors
