absolutly beautiful. Awesome bodykit and nice details. a real offroader should have some shovels and spades on it, and not to forget some dirt, a lot of dirt...
Turned out great! The extra details like the bumper and jerry cans were the cherry on top. Much better than the original. One in Camel yellow would look good also.
Inspiring I'm going to convert one of my 2023 Land rovers similar to this conversion. Going to paint matte black with a machine-gun ball turret on the roof.😊
The only reason I don't is that I dont have a vacuume chamber to degas, and the price to import one is a bit ridiculous. I will get to it at some point but the postage more than the whole thing costs.
Awesome 4x4 restomod on the Rover, you did an amazing job!! I think that is a perfect color for it, a little weathering (mud) and it would be perfect. I love all the little details you added, great idea casting those Jerry cans in resin even if they are a wee bit on the small side, they will come in handy on future builds. I had thought you were going to replace the luggage rack up top, but this looks great even without it. Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!
What a difference Danny; this is one of your best.👍👌😁 It's hard to believe this is the original Matchbox casting. They did a fantastic job on it but the finish let it down a bit. With this paint scheme, and 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 the luggage, it looks so much better. The extra details finish it off perfectly. You transformed a toy into a model, great work.👌 Will you be doing a build video on the plastic kit?😂
Great job with your Custom Restored LandRover Safari toy from Matchbox . Danny the Jerry Cans They would be called Gas Can there in the United States . A Customized Light Bar And a snorkel for driving in deep waters would suit that Model nicely.
I have heard these refered to as Jerry cans here in the states. They have been since around WW2, a bit of British influence I guess. Either term is acceptable.
Looks great! Well done my friend. Reminds me of the LR Defender 110 I just reviewed by Master. Looks ready for any adventure that comes it’s way. Best wishes, Robert

absolutly beautiful. Awesome bodykit and nice details. a real offroader should have some shovels and spades on it, and not to forget some dirt, a lot of dirt...

Turned out great! The extra details like the bumper and jerry cans were the cherry on top. Much better than the original. One in Camel yellow would look good also.

Looks fantastic! What a transformation!
Great job
I’m glad to see you do resin casting. The color of the Land Rover really pops. Maybe you should send it back to Dirk.
The only reason I don't is that I dont have a vacuume chamber to degas, and the price to import one is a bit ridiculous. I will get to it at some point but the postage more than the whole thing costs.
Nice one,Danny.looks totally new.
