**SPOILERS** **SPOILERS** **SPOILERS** **SPOILERS** **SPOILERS** ---------------------------------------- Just for clarification on the rules of the monster, closing the front door would not stop the monster from getting in, as the monster inhabits the house itself. The bedroom is the only safe room in the house between 10:04pm to 8:13am, and as he made it into the bedroom and shut the door just in time, he would've been too late if he spent even half a second closing and locking the front door.
why did he even go home? just crash at someone else's place if it's a curse that he has to be there every night, then my god why leave the house anytime near that time. you got huge problems if that's the case fun short tho 5/7
So that room is the only safe place for Jack now, inside the house and outside, so he can’t just easily move or stay somewhere else. I also have it in my head that Jack has stayed in his house for months and his friend finally got him out of the house to a party, and Jack simply lost track of time, which sets up the short
So, he was already dead the moment he opened the door. Those few seconds when the entity did nothing while the door was opened were just it playing with him... Interesting. Really cool short!
I really liked this one. Good acting, fine colours, good camera work, storytelling provided by post-its, the story itself....you´re on the right way...
its crazy how the smaller subscribed channels have the more erier videos and scarier ones. Its hard to find you guys but ima have a hard time sleepin tonight
That's often the case with obscurity. Music, cinema, culture - the less people know about it, the more effort has to be done in order to be discovered.
Bro shouldn't have opened the door. He should've had messaged Jack as proof. Whatever is out there can mimic the sounds as it can observe from the outside what Jack is doing. But such an entity cannot logically send messages as the only defining characteristic from the movie is that it can imitate sounds of real life as a direct response of the person's actions, but never the things the person can do that's beyond the entity's control such as sending Jack a message and receiving it back, which is fully proof that it isn't Jack.
That was fantastic. I sat on the edge of my seat the whole time and told him not to open the door, lol. Great short story, perfectly filmed, the music was wonderfully nerve-wracking and the monster wasn't the screaming thing with a thousand teeth that we see so often, but refreshingly different, but no less horrifying. Thanks for the great video!
He just really respects his friend’s privacy lol there is backstory as to why it can only be opened from the bedroom side during that time frame, but I will save that for a possible full length version
I give him points for outsmarting me, the viewer, with the phone trick. He lost some for not asking his friend to pick up the phone or acknowledge that its ringing, but I would still put this protagonist in the smarter half of the spectrum. Fantastic video! The shot of the hands at the end was enough to light my imagination on fire, I'm not sure if I would even WANT to see the full monster xD
Good job! Short and to the point, maintains the suspense and ever increasing feeling of dread. Entertaining and very effective.. Keep up what you're doing.
You did a lot here with simple elements. Very suspenseful and disturbing. I got really curious about the lore. Why 10:04? What is the entity like? I'd love to see a sequel.
Watching this was an amazing experience. Not only the story, acting, and the pacing was great, but OH BOY THE COLOOORS!!! I absolutely love the colors and ambience.
This was absolutely fantastic. Terrific job! You really know what horror elements to implement in order keep the story true to the genre: sense of impending doom, ambiguity, blanks left to be answered, not revealing the face or nature of the entity (entities?). Please keep more like this coming! Subscribed.
This was REALLY GOOD!!! And im a pretty rough "critic" of Short Horror Films. Most of them seem pretty lame. This one was particularly good!! Got my heart racing, thats for sure! And that's a good sign!!
So good! This is my interpretation of it. I think the guy was schizophrenic. He had been following the 10:04-8:13 rule for a few weeks when his buddy invited him to the party. Jack started thinking that the monster was in his head and he should probably go to the party. While Jack is at the party, he gets a funny feeling that the monster might be real and he should probably go home. That’s why his friend is still at the party and asking Jack where he went. Jack realizes that it’s not in his head and the monster is real, according to him. None of it was real and he probably went into a shocked state when the “monster” entered the room.
A demon try to mimic his friend voice and trick him but his number 1 stupid mistake is left the front door open like why??? And why would you come back home knowing some entity is waiting for u
I think him running through the house to get to the bedroom to shut the door before a certain time, and the name of the film kinda means the post-it notes are not needed. Great acting and neat story which holds together well. I'd like to know how long it's been going on for, did he get the house cheaply as the last people wanted to get out sharpish.
In Arizona I used to stay at this apartment where stuff would happen slightly. But this one day I woke up at a certain time from a nap. As I woke up I couldn’t move. I could only look around. I was staring at the clock. Time didn’t move for what seemed like almost 10 minutes. Then all a sudden. *Knock knock knock* at my room door. I was the only one home

@@Cinemug Makes Senese! Like what almost happens to Neville in 'I am Legend'!
So, he was already dead the moment he opened the door. Those few seconds when the entity did nothing while the door was opened were just it playing with him... Interesting. Really cool short!
How did he come about figuring the exact times that are safe/dangerous? Just curious what kind of lore is behind that.
Bro folded under ZERO pressure
Dude is so dumb. I don't get how he reached adulthood
No, it was the highest pressure.
Dude had all those post it notes but fell for it immediately lol
Dude is so dumb fr
tbh, those notes were exposition for the viewers :P
You know what I just realized. The bedroom door wasn't even locked.
When he goes to open it he doesn't twist the lock to unlock it.
@@TheScarletSlayer Those kind of locks work that way though. If you turn the handle from inside it unlocks automatically. It's only locked to outside.
@Xezlec is that actually a thing? I've never heard of that.
Seems like a serious safety hazard.
That’s what you get when you ignore your post-it notes
Five minutes of me saying, "Noooooooo, don't do it. You idiot. Arrrrrrrggggghhhhh."
Great film!
If I were Jack, I wouldn't have enjoyed staying at that party until the very last minute, knowing what awaits me at home.
You had ONE job!!!
Yup you had one job!!! Close the door do not open😡😂😂
All you had to do was keep the damn door locked cj
“The noises aren’t real” proceeds to listen to the noises
Fax like bro did you go to school?
This is how to do a short film properly. It was simple but very well done and better than many horror movies out there.
I really liked this one. Good acting, fine colours, good camera work, storytelling provided by post-its, the story itself....you´re on the right way...
Jack was a very foolish boy.
I don't even answer the phone when I don't feel like it. This dude opened his door when he knew he could be killed 😂
Well I know who NOT to bring when the apocalypse comes
Finding this in my recommended and then looking over at my phone to see 10 04 was mind boggling.
Omg mid way through it was 08.13 when I watched 😊
@@issabradshaw2877 its 10:03:15 for me... i gotta go
Did you shut the door at least?
Holy shit, just reading this comment, checked the time and 10 04pm exactly!
Hoooo bro id be saving it for tomorrow morning lol
its crazy how the smaller subscribed channels have the more erier videos and scarier ones. Its hard to find you guys but ima have a hard time sleepin tonight
That's often the case with obscurity. Music, cinema, culture - the less people know about it, the more effort has to be done in order to be discovered.
Very true !
Why? Just lock your door at 10:04

Exactly !
Why not just say through the door "answer your phone and I'll let you in"

This was actually so good better than most full length horror movies these days
Stop it
Longlegs😅
The bedroom door wasn't locked. There would literally be no reason for his real friend to have to be let in to the room.
He just really respects his friend’s privacy lol there is backstory as to why it can only be opened from the bedroom side during that time frame, but I will save that for a possible full length version
Will be waiting for it. @@Cinemug
@@CinemugWow, can't wait to see it
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The door closing at the end was a nice touch
I was going to say he was smart for calling his friend
Then he opened the door before his friend answered
YOU WERE SO CLOSE MAN 😂
Best ring doorbell ad... ever...😂
Seriously...twas good!
I really love the vision with this, especially that door shot. It so simple but so creative
The thing with ghosts knocking on doors always scares me. Like they are trying to mimic human behavior, it's so scary.
How you ignore your own posted notes

Fantastic video! The shot of the hands at the end was enough to light my imagination on fire, I'm not sure if I would even WANT to see the full monster xD
that was awesome! Well shot, cool concept, only a glimpse of the eldritch horror, the shot at 3:47 !!!!
This was so much better than most full-length horror films! Perfect blend of simplicity, creativity, and dread-keep them coming!

cinematography is on top!
Yo this is so good
Underrated
We need part 2 or more like this
bro had one job 💀😭 🙏 great film though very suspenseful and well made

Excellent use of sound! Visuals were great as well!
Very good, short but effective. Really liked this!
Damn, this was great! Loved the shot at 3:49! And the build up of tension is spot on! 🔥
That's so clean and to the point🤌

Someone send this to CoryxKenshin when he gets back IMMEDIATELY
He’s already back
damn that was well done. those hands scared the s outta me!
Nice! This was really cool!
The sounds in the first ten seconds or so had me singing, "I'm not in love so don't forget it."
PICTURE: You're me and my boys, looking for a scary short before bedtime. HOLY MOLY, this was gold!!!
This was a great short! Great acting, loved the post it note background, nice camera work and a really original idea. Good work, keep at it!
Man... really great job. What a simple and elegant idea for a short. Nice.
Pretty solid usage of 5 minutes! I dig.
ONE JOB DUDE, ONE JOB
Very good! I was thinking throughout this video that demons can only enter if you let them in, never dabble in the occult
Went through all the trouble of making sticky notes just to ignore them
This was REALLY GOOD!!! And im a pretty rough "critic" of Short Horror Films. Most of them seem pretty lame. This one was particularly good!! Got my heart racing, thats for sure! And that's a good sign!!
I like the plot and the buildup of tension. The sounds were probably the most cunning thing about...whatever that thing was
Comment for algorithm, enjoyed the watch, hope more people see it! Gj
Such an eerie installment! a true filmmaker! keep going
That was awesome. Of course he opens the door 😮
When I saw the hands on top of the door I almost jumped XD
That was crackin!! 🤩
Dave? Dave’s not here. Great job. This is terrifying.
Now i want a full film of it. Especially after knowing the lore behind it.
wait what lore
Great one! Loved the atmosphere🔥
this was excellent -------------------------loved it
“sit on your hand so it feels like someone else’s”
“…so that’s what it feels like”
Idk why im watching horror at 3:19 an, but im gonna fall asleep when im done with this. Im very tired, idgaf if its horror or not.
I actually like this one
I was really scared, especially because I've been afraid of the dark since I was a child.
Short and sweet.
That was good.
Dope short dude!
Very interesting idea. Nice work.
I finna close the door at 10:04 and see my brother's reaction 😂
Currently watching at 10:04pm
I am glad I took a chance in this one. It was very well done.
Feel like this was a movie about my cat if I close the bedroom door at night.
.. that was nice, well done
That was fantastic. Well done!
*it's **8:13*
Imagine 'it' decides to not leave. Imagine 'it' decided it wants to stay a little longer...
Wow It's so good ✨✨

I’m one minute into this and I’m just like… dude💀💀 move tf outta there😭🙏🙏
He had enough time to close the two front doors. And never asker the door 🚪. Truly scary 😳😳😳😳
thats some tense sound
how did I scroll past this at exactly 10:04PM AEDT
A demon try to mimic his friend voice and trick him but his number 1 stupid mistake is left the front door open like why??? And why would you come back home knowing some entity is waiting for u
Tense to the max!
that ringtone fooled him 😵💫
Great short 👏🏽 👌 👍🏼 creepy!

This is very impressive, best performance, amazing idea, one of the best horror scene and amazing editing.

Nice work.
Interesting concept, great atmosphere and what a creepy build up well done 👍👍
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
If you heard someone calling your name outside your door between 10:04 and 8:13 - no you didn’t.
Great work
Uhhff scene 🥶👑
Nicely done!! I enjoyed this one!! Ax
