Only one suggestion I would pre drill through the top log and save yourself from splitting shoulder pain when you’re older your doing a great job on your project love watching you grow

I like how you talk to the camera and your audience. Most of these similar channels rely heavily on the Dick Proenneke method of filming. It's not a bad way, it's just overdone in my opinion. Thanks for addressing your audience.

@metalmyke1 Dick Proenneke was a pioneer when it came to filming himself in the 1960's. He never really addressed the camera while he was filming 🎥 himself while building etc. He did overdub his films and narrate.

Best doggage ever. Oh, I'll take one of those, and then a shepherd puppy later on for my new build. Currently dealing with zoning BS, Asurdly, they focus on modern cut lumber and techniques, in a culture where there's been log -spike builds like this for 140 years.

Two logs up, and I see your vision. It'll be a great cabin, one that will serve you and Cierra well, last ya'll a long time. Love the simple log sets and spikes. Maybe a slightly larger sledge to not bounce off the spikes? Love what you're doing 😊

Although I probably will never build a log cabin, this is so inspiring. If things got really bad, I’m sure I could use these tips and methods to survive.😅I wish I had some land and resources to do this, although a lot of prep and work, this would be so fun and rewarding.
