congrats on your first pay out ! something i noticed is that now im getting way more sales on dreamstime currently its even preforming better then shutterstock. istock preformed amazing last month with a record of 126 dollars and there was about 90 in the treshhold so big payout this time over 200 dollars. The strange thing is i sold one video for 75 cents! but photo sales earned me like 35 dollars per photo on a few. usually i would earn like 20-50 dollars a month on istock. when it starts it probbebly will continu to grow and grow with ups and downs:P

Hi I have a question. Now I see this information on exclusive application page: $0.20 per uploaded image bonus (for first 100 approved files). So it means we could earned $0.2 in first 100 approved files and will no longer have uploaded image bonus?
I have no idea as I am not an exclusive Contributor. I am a non exclusive Contributor so I only started earning after mu downloads /sales happened.
I tried opening contributor account in shutterstock,istock,stocksy,pngtree,pond5 and dreams time..but got success only in pond5.....shutterstock just saying my id is not verified,istock and png tree said they sent me a verification mail though i havnt received one yet.......dreamstime just got stuck....i tried editing my profile data and shows error again n again.....kinda frustrating thing

Hey doc, nice video as always very useful! (Unicorn 👍) I started on dreamstime 2 months ago and yesterday I have made my first sale there for 5$! The problem is that I can't see which was the downloaded image, I can just see that the earnings balance has raised. Do you know why does this happen?
You will be able to see it in the "image earning" section.. Or if you use the "dreamstime companion" app.
The mobile version is very streamlined and can give you idea about the sales.

Hey bro.. may i ask, did you fill out an W-8 form? if so, what do you do after that? do you need to report your earnings somewhere? i have no idea how taxes work in this case. some pages withhold 30% of my earnings, and others don't even allow me to withdraw. i understand that you have to provide your social insurance number (foreign tax id) at least.. but i don't know the process after that
Fill up with foreign tax id. then you are eligible for payment. Some agencies will pay you automatically when you cross their minimum theoreshold balance. For Some agencies you need to withdraw manually. Morover different agencies have different minimum payout limits varies from 25 to 100 dollars. I have detailed guides on every payout from every agencies. Recently uploaded one as well. Feel free to watch them to understand the process in detail..good luck..

That's normal. Dreamstime is a low selling agency. Keep uploading more and more.. And upload everyday. That is the only way..

I don't earn by editing. I only earn by stock photography. That is after editing, I upload my photos and people buy them. But I will take your request and will surely make a video series on mobile editing.

i am 4 years on dreamstime with 5 sales and 60 images i want to improve that but i am thinking about moving to Shutterstock as i did my researches and found that Shutterstock has visitors 3 times more than Dreamstime so i think about moving to it , but i like to hear your opinion i am confused which is better because i prefer to upload to just one website, what do you think
Yes you can move to shutterstock. But with 60 images don't expect any improvement there too.. I have 3000 images that helped me to reach 165 dollars on Dreamstime as of now after a 100 dollar payout.. So good luck for your photographic journey on shutterstock ❤️

In getty images the payout limit varies from 90 to 100 dollars. And its automatic. In fotolia the minimum layout is 25 dollars. But you have to do manual request.

Thanks for the code. Yes tax form is mandatory. Or else payout will not be sent.

@@thiagosantiro2327 You are right. The tax form is needed to be filled before payout. So while you are approaching the payout limit Dreamstime will give you email or pop up to fill up that form. If it doesn't happen, when you request manual payout you have to fill it anyway. 100 dollars was a long journey for me so I didn't bother to fill it earlier.. 😁

I cannot help with id.. I can help you with photo rejection only. Id is your personal property.. Contact customer care ☹️☹️
you need to look at the rejection reasons. Are they technical related or image related? like property or model release? maybe bad composition or just the subject isnt of value? photography takes time to learn and improve. Also use a camera and not a phone. you can start with your phone but youll have a hard time getting your images approved on the high end agencies. Always downsize the image to a 6.1mp. It improves the quality and increases the chance it will get accepted. look at the rejection reason for you image then at the image where you can find this issue and what you might be able to do about it.

Payment has no relationship with uploads. When an uploaded photo sells then you get paid 😅

I don't know. You have to request dreamstime customer support. I started as non exclusive..
You can always make a new account with a new email id using the referral link in my video description and be non exclusive Contributor in that account. But you cannot upload the exclusive files on other agencies. Good luck.

Many Congrats. It happens always. Reviewers on all the sites are not same
shutterstock is quite strict on quality everything needs be very good in focus and have no noise at all. i still get some rejections every batch on shutterstock most times for focus or too soft image. To get high approvel rates on shutterstock you need quite some skill and a decent camera and lens.

@@charlottesplayground1096 they mostly reject the photo due to noise and artifacts and also says the main object is not in focus .how ever I take the pics of fruits and vegetables mostly with closeup
@@urduwazaifmania953 First of all is it a phone camera? if not you can reduce noise by shooting on low iso value i never go above 800. you can reduce noise in post with your editing software as you will always get a bit of noise with most lenses. Making macro closeups with your phone is not a good idea photos will be soft and out of focus. also focus issue often occur when you holding the lens to close to the subject. All phones even the new ones dont have much detail and create artifacts on the long range. you can try to correct this a bit by editing the photo in lightroom. just learn the basics of photography and get decent gear and youll get there.

So no matter what language you are comfortable at, you must be good in English to get your job done. 90% brothers fail because of poor title and description due to their poor English. So better not give them false hope. Samajh me na aye to accha hain. Lekin samajh k fir shutterstock me fail karke mere channel ko Gaali denge isse accha hain kam subscribers aur viewers ho lekin with proper knowledge in English. Morover Meri hindi zara kamzor hain.. Phir bhi try karta hoon. Already hindi me bahut videos banai hui hai and aur bhi banenge. Puri hindi videos ki list ye raha dear. Aram se dekhna ❤️
