Hello! I had filled the form the same way you did, but immediately got a mail saying "INELIGIBLE FOR TREATY BENEFIT-NO TIN
". It asks me to prove TIN or else they'll begin deducting the maximum amount of US tax from royalty payments for US sales.
What does the treaty benefits mean? I'm not understanding. Should I be concerned of this mail?
No that's a standard stuff. Matter of finance of both countries. Just ignore it. :)

Where you entered your PAN number here?? and you clicked on "no" when they asked for TIN.
But you entered PAN number in depositphotos tax form.
Yes. 2 forms are different. You can try and experiment and see. But having no TIN will lead to deductions anyway.
But main reason is depositphotos.com accepts PAN but here they only accepts TIN 😁

It's normal. If u don't have tin u have to pay 30% flat taxes. We all get this reply back..don't worry.

I have two questions.
1. How many days are required for the tax form to be approve in istock?
2. As per you told in video, I have chosen option 'No' in the question about TIN. Then after completing interview I have received an email like this "Information you have provided in your recently completed tax interview indicates that you may be eligible to claim tax treaty benefits. This may reduce US tax withholding on your royalty payments from 30% on US sales to a lower rate in accordance with US Tax treaty and your country of tax residence."
So is it OK or not?
Immediately and the mail you got it normal..so go ahead and upload your content...30% tax you have to accept unless you have international TIN number.

The same thing happened with me and on the esb page it shows the tax interview is still incomplete. I checked the help section and it shows a list of countries and their respective numbers to be filled, for india it says to put the PAN number so I tried to refill the form with PAN number but it still doesn’t complete the tax interview and the same email comes. Can you guide on this?

That depends on your countries' tax treaty with USA. For me it's hefty 30% 😅😅

Minimum payout is 100 dollars. No need of TIN..30% will be automatically deducted. For TIN apply to income-tax department.

I have logged in to GettyImages and opened an account. I tried to complete my Tax Interview as per your video, but unable to do that. After doing all those fill ups..they mailed me entitling

and also told me

It's normal dear. Unless you have applied for international TIN this will be the outcome.
So apply for TIN immediately to income-tax department to avail international tax rebates

Yes sure. But there will be no tax benefit. It's same as keeping it blank which I have noticed.

You don't have to do anything other than uploading. When buyers download your photo you get commission. When your commission reaches a certain amount you will be automatically paid. See this video how I got my first payout

It varies account to account. If you have completed the tax interview then next month your amount will be credited to PayPal and no longer carried forward..

Try with another browser. Everyone is doing it successfully. That step shouldn't be a problem at all. It happens just like shown in this video!

Need a bit Help. I am from Pakistan and I am having a Registered TIN. I am entering the TIN. It is giving me error saying: "You have not entered a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN). Please review and correct your TIN number."
Either way if I select I do not have TIN, it does not Highlight the "Submit W-8BEN" button.

I have submitted the ticket. The TIN is according to the 14 digit format required.
I did it by my PAN number and they accepted it. The TIN is a 14 digit number. What does your TIN number look like?
Anyways don't stress much.. You will still receive the money when your photo sells, just they will deduct some extra % as tax. To be honest I am only a guide, I showed a way and everyone was able to do it.. If you have an invalid tin only your income tax department or getty images back end owners can guide you. Sorry dear..hope they solve your ticket

Yes that's normal. Enter your PAN number and complete address. Follow the steps. A lot of my brothers from Pakistan did it successfully. In shah Allah u will be able to do it too. Yes and payoneer card is the only way to earn from stock photography in Pakistan. Good luck bhai
Hey. I already complete the tax requirements. And they email me this morning. And saying that I'm eligible to get treaty benefits from them. Only if I provide my TIN number. Which I myself not a us citizen. And I dont have it.
My point is. Do you think I still able to receive the monthly payment? Even if there is no TIN tax? Provided
Yes you will get payment but 30% will be duducted from us based sales. Tin is not for us citizen. It is for foreign cititzen. Why lose your hard earned money as stock photography income is already very very low in 2020. Apply for TIN with your govt income-tax department.
in my royalties they said Royalties data will not be available until your first transaction has occurred. Please try again next month.

Is getty only have exclusive
This is a guide for istock photo which is under getty images and free. There both exclusive and non exclusive options available during upload.
Main getty images is paid and totally exclusive agency.

U have to prepare it before you receive your first payout. Don't worry, as your earning approaches your payout value, the website will remind you to fill it. Till then relax.
