I mentioned the last time he was here that he should look into a "grain scoop" ($10+ on Amazon?) that will hold almost 2 quarts of muck... and they are fairly heavy duty. I see a guy here on YT using one to clean the sludge out of oil tanks, so I know they hold up.
I have a hunch that they have a combination a low flow toilet and that thicker Loo roll, its just a guess as the loo roll doesn't seem to have broken down as it should.
I remember the first time there was unpleasant, with sewer water spraying as you used the angle grinder to cut in access. That was followed by much sewage escaping! Have a great Friday!
I agree with several comments regarding the low-flow toilet and thick toilet paper. If everything barely moves, it will pile up and not move due to the lack of water. The joints do not seem that bad, no roots that hold the stuff back.
I can imagine the smell. The other day the plumber jetted the blocked toilet line and poo was everywhere after it (at least 3 metre squared). I was upstairs and the smell wafted in. It was so potent. I went down and took a look (why not) and got to even see the manhole cover removed and the mains running (at a good rate * about 3 - 5 garden hoses going full blast*). My guess is that 5 or more people were showering at the time as the water was clear. The crazy thing is that the sewer line wasn't coming into there (even after being cleared) although I know that the setup is weird and goes up hill, then across instead of just directly across to the mains. In the manhole area it had 3 into 1 but only 1 was running. I would have taken a photo but it was quite deep (about 2.5 metres) and the phone light wasn't strong enough. Ps The jetter motor is quite loud in person. I was told that the hose alone is thousands ($10,000 maybe ???). Must hurt when you have to cut it / if it gets damaged.
I see 6,000 PSI jetter hose on Amazon for $1.50 a foot I suspect a larger diameter or commercial grade might be double that per foot, so about $3.00 x the 150 feet on his reel.... under $1k for a replacement. Still in all, a major expense so you learn to chop off a worn end and install new fittings. Since it's the first few feet that wear out, you also learn to turn the hose around and wear out the other end for a bit.
Recall Gavin 👍😇🦸 IMO your magic liners would do the trick, the fresh ones and loo paper would slip away no bother 🤔 mind you the wee wife nextdoor would miss you watering her plants 😂🤣😂 Have a wonderful weekend Gavin and family ❤
😮😮 very unusual gavin it looks like it might need to be sanded out if not a realine job to make it more smoother to flow.enjoyed watch like the 🐌🐌🐌turbo shirt👍👍happy flushing 👍👍👍👍👍
PLEASE get yourself a lightweight (plastic) mini shovel for those gross cleanups!! Also, is this job a candidate for a long re-lining of the pipe, given so many small dislocations in the joints?
Block Drain!, not a Stormwater Drain! You open the Drain and a Sewer Block Flush in Your Drain. Then beginning You the clear with the Presswater! The Drain is Unblock. Good Work 💪👍
A plastic grain scoop is only a few bucks (Amazon) and will last him several years. They hold 1-2 quarts, and the edge could be rounded a bit to comply with the pipe shape.
Call Ollie. See if he can wrangle you one of those shiny chain-knocker jet heads, like he’s got. No clue if it’s safe for terra cotta pipe, but it certainly descales pvc
Could that coagulation of "yellow stuff" be salt glaze from when it was fired ,those pipes look like salt glazed ...this from a retired plumber ... cheerz Gavin
That looked more like wipes that came out of the pipe in the beginning, are they flushing things they shouldn't be? I understand the joints are separated, but they aren't that bad. Looks like you're gonna need a bigger bag of lime. 😊 Not R O O T S. 🤣😂🙂😁
Keep up with you the good work love watching you on UA-cam god bless
One could say you really get into your job, but with this one, with the splashback, the job is getting into you.
Great work as always gavin❤
Another top class job, keep up the good work
Hehe, Gavin! Right before you said you washed the truck too, I said the same to myself... Two bird in one smack! 🤭🤭😁
Hi Gav, get a gutter scoop to help clean up, love ya work
that's what I was thinking to, or a kids sand shovel

The engine’s sounding good!👍🏼
The drain that would not stay clear. The fresh ones got to me this time. 🤢 Great video!
Love watching your videos from Vancouver Island Canada
Well done!
Yuck! Get Gavin get it done. Mate, you are the man. You are the ultimate professional. Love "little bit of freshness"! More like a lot "of freshness"!
Thanks

I agree
Was thinking too much TP when wiping the butt lol@@penetratorblockeddrains

👍🏻

I haven't been eating much chicken curry soup since i started watching your channel🤣
Here where I live the septic cleaners duly warn us to only use certain toilet paper . And those types disolve almost right away !

Just sat down with a plate of pizza delivery and put the video on. *Surprise ! Pizza and poo, what a combo!
The price of that house call WASN'T ENOUGH It should have been triple.
Will that Turbo Hat be for sale in the store ? Love the design .
We haven’t set it

Makes a refreshing change no roots blocking it up . But a mysterious yellow substance might be Alien poo 😂😂
That’s a heck of a lot of raw sewage to push out into the wild. They haven’t got one of those low flow toilets do they?
Block Drain!, not a Stormwater Drain! You open the Drain and a Sewer Block Flush in Your Drain. Then beginning You the clear with the Presswater! The Drain is Unblock. Good Work 💪👍
I still believe that if you took a metal dust pan and bent to look like a scoop it would better than picking crap up with your gloved hand!

Hey, isn’t there a movie called Turbo?
Ooooo pooooo

Do you need to get special shots to protect yourself against diseases?
Sorry you got a nasty shuwer😢
Eww 🤢 that sucks
Have we not seen this one befor
Yes, the same place. He was there not long ago for the same reason.
I just checked your weather. 75hi - 52low. You need a bunch of rain to wash this away. Isn't it winter?
old pipes, either to much tp or not enough water, the systems were designed for 5 gallon flushes
Looks like grout or old school auto level
Could that coagulation of "yellow stuff" be salt glaze from when it was fired ,those pipes look like salt glazed ...this from a retired plumber ... cheerz Gavin
🥵💗🇺🇸👍
wernt we just there not to long ago in another video ?????
Correct
They need to use less paper, or flush twice after a big poo
Uric acid maybe? Three men living in the house
Gav has the hiccups.
People need to lessen their over-use of toilet paper.
Also buy brands that decompose more easily on their trip downstream.
Giant cockroach alert at 15:23
You hosed the truck, but you really needed to hose the plumber after that sewer vomited all over you....
clean youre driveway wasnt an option for those people sjeez what a filthy yard but nice job bud

They had been using 4 ply toilet paper
To me it looks like wipes.
Get a bidet! Much less toilet paper?
🤮this video really got to me!
I can’t believe I’m watching this! 🤢! Doesn’t look like a healthy diet.
