I mean, look at the length, he increases it when he goes faster, a common rookie mistake is to try to increase the length of your strides to go faster, so you end up running like 140 strides per minute when you should aim for around 180 (I committed this mistake myself😂)

Going on a yap but Humans we’re mean’t to run barefoot, Its why we today have so many problems with feet, ankle, leg knee and back pain has been linked to stem all the way down to your feet and the fact that more comfortable shoes are *worse* for your feet. You build significantly lots more muscle in your feet and you can even begin to train your feet to do some pretty cool things with continued exercises. (I can lift and move multiple things or grab objects with my grippers)
Most people if they tried to run barefoot would probably fall a few times before figuring it out like second nature, Because we’re so used to walking and running with shoes that we’ve completely altered the way we run when wearing them even down to the point when we take then off and wonder why is it so painful to run? Your not supposed to run like that.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

@ollierobertson-kurd thank you! 34 in your 18's is a very respectful time, think that you still far away from your prime...the secret is mileage..I I used to run 120-150km per week of competition that is what you will get you to better results in your pre competion and competion period...Yes I did pretty till my 19's but than unfortunately running is not the most profitable activity, you need to be an elite athlete to make money, at that time the far I went was third place in national competitions, than I decided to focus on my studies which was a good ideia, but never stop running, I think the day I stop will be close to my journey here in this planet lol!

@@ollierobertson-kurd mileage is all when you're off competition...it will give the base for everything else....another technique I used eas established a goal for my 10k and calculate how much I needed to keep each 400m , I mean let's say you need 1'20" for each 400m, than I'd go for a 1 time per week 25×400m 1min resting trying to keep 1'20" per 400m, amazing results even if you're not able to keep all 25 laps on the target time..
