true enough that HE spells it that way, with an oe, so fair enough. but oe is just the latin spelling since most latin based languages don't have a representative letter for the sound ø makes.

Uncompromising and innovative throughout his long career he has not been afraid to diversify and expand the envelope of the genre. A fine example is the song Myr from his latest album which features a banjo. Here is a vid of that from late last year when he played the tattoo/music festival Blekkmetal in his hometown of Bergen, Norway: vimeo.com/160939971.
