So underrated, they deserve big tours! I want to see them with Insomnium together touring, would listen to both of them whole day...
They go well with Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium, Dark Tranquility, Persefone, Mors Principium Est, and Noumena.

His voice is so fucking good. 'Didn't expect it to sound this awesome live, but he's got such a recognisable tone. The whole band play so professionally. I love it

I will use your comment to praise my matallically ignorant ass, because I don't listen to most metal music. I was like a roadrunner on UA-cam one day and bumped into from scythe to sceptre and came to a dead halt. And I had berated myself all those years for being a music bigot.

2 amazing songs. Countless Skies and Root to Server. Easily one of the best bands out there. People need to open their eyes... Seriously.
Yeah ecen as far back as a stones reach (countless skies as you know) theyve been making good music - the only thing holding them back was the crispness/production value of their earlier albums as mentioned. If they were given the same mics and set up as Vessels or Coherence to record Of breath and bone, and a stones reach with there would be more fans absolutely. Fortunately for me I can set aside some of those quality flaws for the raw talent I know they have. And its been worth it to be blessed with Vessels and Coherence. Super eccited for these guy's future

Honestly, on a live gig, who gives a fuck on what the band looks like. As long as they sound awesome, the looks don't matter at all. The same thing goes the other way, if they sound like crap, I don't give a jack shit if they "look like metalheads" by your standards. In my opinion these guys do look like metalheads all the way.

The drummer played one of the best drumming patterns yet stays to calm and composed, whereas we had Lars, dancing even on a simplest 4×4 patterns.

album vs live = sound good
the energy seemed a bit lacking. I mean their silence even mid notes had energy in the album. I don't know how to express it. I am listening to this loudly but not on headphones, it's as if I cannot fully feel the drums. Should I be using headphones?
@@korkunctheterrible4302 that's probably just the mix of the live recording being lacking. Pretty sure it sounded better live than it did in this live recording.

I've just discovered this band while living in Australia for a couple years. I must say that they are definitely my favorite Oz metal band, and in my top 5 fave metal bands of all time.

Man!!! They all are young and maybe not so experienced in making music, yet they are the Masters of the most difficult genre of metal, they are so humble on the stage too. T
They definitely ate gifted souls.
These guys are simply amazing. I've gone through a lot of metal genres over the years, picking out some favorites artists would include; Dissection, In Flames, Morbid Angel, Taake, Wintersun, and now these guys. They have a heavy, beautiful, relentless, complex and layered sound that is very unique to itself. Cannot wait for the next album.
