Thanks! It did take me a lot of practice and a while to "get" it. It was the last song i beat on hard. I still messed up a couple of times and i didn't get adventurous with additional steps inbetween, but it was good enough in the end. :)
eastwood1845 Yeah, since watching your video I've decided to try to master a number of different songs while also throwing in as many additional steps as possible and so far I've only succeeded in getting Disco Queen. Took about 3 hours. Having mild OCD and being a bit of a perfectionist can be REALLY unpleasant at times like this, especially since I managed to almost get a perfect run after only a half hour only to fumble the last freaking note.

Impressive score, apparently the end scores a lot more points by hitting the buttons than the dance fever. I timed the third fever when the fast part in the end began, bc while I managed to do perfectly until the second fever, that ending is just too ridiculous for me. Full panic just trying to keep up with all the buttons. I just barely got 7k points.

First attempt after watching this vid and I nailed it. Thank you showing an actual rhythm guide as opposed to all the vids showing errors just to get steps in. Following this vid is perfect for anyone having trouble with Make You Mine. You will kick yourself at how easy it is once you got the perfect timing down. No need to go with extra steps as your combo is much more important. Now I just have to win 4 more million on Mahjong, get 100K on Fantasy Zone and then 5 mil on baseball. I'm trying to get one task done each day after work. Thanks again man for the superb guide.

P.S.: While i took the simpler approach, i do admire anyone that can do a lot of inbetween steps while hitting all the notes, but i personally found it too distracting and as seen above it isn't necessary to beat the score.
Oh indeed. But I think going for the steps takes away from it being a rhythm/timing game and makes it more a sort of high score leaderboard game. Indeed the players who can do it awesome, but the vids they make aren't user friendly as what yours is. Well done and thanks again. Now I'm having a nightmare of a time on the climax battles lol.
actually ez. get a decent combo going at the start and during the end just line up the triple buttons to be pressed at the same time, instead of one at a time. with 2 successful L1 activations you should get it
What woked for me was when i realized that you shouldn't look at the icons too closely for the timing of your button presses. I honestly messed up most of the presses when i tried to go just by visual cues. When i started paying closer attention to the music and imagined clapping along with the beat, it started making sense and i improved quickly.
Thanks for the advice, man. I've managed to 3-star every song in the game on hard except this one and yet this song became excruciatingly difficult for me all of a sudden. The song sounds so simple, and yet it easily screws up my rhythm almost near the end.
don't know if this is still relevant but focus on the combos not the amount of steps you make. As long as you can keep the combo going you're good to go.

I actually think this is one of the easier songs. The chorus may seem daunting at first, and like you're about to hit a seizure soon, but once you understand the pattern and timing, it's a lot easier than Friday Night or Queen of Passion (those inputs aren't consistent enough for you get the rhythm down)
Friday Night is extremely easy though. I'm Gonna Make Her Mine is also easy on easy and normal, but for some reason it ramps up on hard. But I Wanna Take You Home has got to be the hardest, mainly because it's hard to pinpoint the beat.

I know it's hard, but the best way to beat the song is to play using both hands.
