My hobby lately has been watching reactions of people just discovering this song by Led Zeppelin. I'm an old geezer now but when this song came out I was 16 years old and I had the same reaction then. Wow! Wow!! wow!! It's hard to believe this song is over 50 years old and still amazes people when they first hear it 😮
When you put the best singer in history with the best rock and roll drummer in history with one of the top guitarists of all time and one of the best bass players/ keyboardists of all time together, this is what you get.And you get the greatest song in rock and roll history….” stairway to Heaven.”
@@howdyault7710The Beatles were pop top 40 lalala music. They hit the middle between folk and rock. They never toured, which is an insult to the fans, hid in the studio, and were overrated. Love me do, you know I love you, please,..,love me do…lol
Early Zeppelin got their ideas from black blues musicians. They used lyrics and riffs that came from the black man. I am an old white man. My great great uncle is a famous boxer named Stanley Ketchel who fought Jack Jefferson, the great white hope. The great white hope was a black man, a tough as hell black boxer who stood six foot tall. That was tall in the early 1900's. He was famous for having a thing for white women, went to jail for being with one. Back n those days they fought with leather gloves that had no padding. Ketchel, only 5 foot nine knocked Jack Jefferson out, but the great white hope got up from that blow and knocked Ketchel out cold embedding two of Ketchel's front teeth in the skin tight glove. These two men liked to drink together and looked out for one another, they were friends. Black man gave the world a gift. A great big gift.
The drummer, John Bonham, passed away September 25, 1980. The inquest on 27 October 1980 showed that in 24 hours, Bonham had consumed around 40 shots (1-1.4 litres) of 40% ABV vodka, after which he vomited and choked, a condition known as pulmonary aspiration.
Oh great. More new reacters who will now proceed to listen to 90% guy bands. More musical misogyny. What century are we living in? If you want to expand your musical horizons to some more women (besides angelina jordan and fleetwood mac), I highly suggest (the wilson sisters from) HEART, "stairway to heaven" kennedy center honors. Or, LINDA RONSTADT "Long, long time" live on the johnny cash show. And Try to stay away from Journey if you can help it. Sheesh.
There’s some great female musicians. But you did them a disservice whining about musical misogyny. You cannot be a real person. Or else you are a very pampered, bored one-inventing grievances -to get special attention and treatment?

If you enjoy drums.... Listen to Moby Dick... John Bonham (greatest drummer ever RIP)

Musical misogyny? I hope that was a joke. Pay 'em if it means that much to you, don't hate people for what they like.
anything but a joke. it is very real. just check about ANY reacters video list. then tell me i am wrong.@@PatrickORourke-yz3xn
