Thanks for sharing your experience.I would like to explain you the myth that body adapts after 45 days.actualy the basis of intermittent fasting is keeping insulin to low so that other hormones which burn fat like glucagon is more in blood when we are fasting to break lipids to provide energy to our body so when fat is getting burn automatically you are not going to become obese

Are we not supposed to eat any sweets ?I used to always think whatever food we want to eat in limits to eat in 8 hrs eating window...never knew that we are not supposed to have rice or sweet in small quantity.....i do 14 and 10

Hi dear, actually it depends upon your goals I mean if you are not obese / you are not diabetic if you are doing intermittent fasting for fitness yes you can have sweet
If you are pre-diabetec though you can enjoy little bit sweet in eating windows better to avoid to prevent insulin spike ,
You can eat rice ( carbohydrates) but you should remain in calories deficit if you're goal is weight loss.
In keto cabs are taken in less quantity less than 20 gm per day that also more in vegetables form
I will suggest not to do keto bcz I think we should choose such life style that we can sustain lifelong & it should be healthy,so have balance diet at proper interval with calorie deficit which will help you to become fit.
According to my opinion being metabolically healthy is more important ,so while loosing weight do it in healthy manner , don't do any exreems which will have bad impact on health

Hi. Thanks for sharing your experience. Few doubts. Can you please cite the sources where you read that intermittent fasting stops working after 45 days. Doctors like Jason Fung, author of the 'obesity code' recommend it more as a lifestyle. Also, I think tea, coffee, green tea, herbal tea are fine if you don't add milk or sugar because they are 0 calorie drinks. What do you think?
This is what I have observed from my experience. After few days it doesn't look like any effort to fast the body gets used to the eating habit. At that point we need to change the approach . The point is not to get the body comfortable and make it work to burn fats and calories

Been doing this for like 3 months but I unfortunately binged and it didn't work out quite the way I wanted. Watched your video a week ago, and it has gained me a little but much needed confidence to start it all over again but with exercises of course. Although I plan to do this for a year, I'll still update what happens after 45 days, here.

Update: I have managed to reduce a total of 6.5 kgs with 5k steps every day and 2.5 hours of playing badminton for 25 days (iirc). I should work on to improve this further.

@@haleemameher603 yeah to build up my endurance I needed a lower amount of steps, hence I opted for 5000 steps instead of Simon's 15k steps.

When he is 120 kg,he only walk 15000-20000 steps, after 15 days his body qeight is 110 kg,than he start running 20-30 min/5 km per day and lose 10 kg more...

I do 16-8 fasting with no to very very limited sugar intake....
Once a week I do drink alcohol some times during those days I unable to cope up within 8 hours but next day onwards I maintain 16-8 diet ....
From 106 Kg to 95 KG currently in 40 days... I am 5ft 10 inch hope to loose 7-8 kg more to have perfect weight - height ratio....
And yes I am too lazy to work out 😁😁😁

I don't know.. i usually have black coffee with honey in the morning.. also didn't stop IF after 45 days.. I'm continuing to lose weight.. I've lost from 122 to 95.. I'm 3 months and 20 days exactly.. yes, i workout 6 times a week also track calories..

I'm sharing a honest and truthful experience..
Losing 27 kilos in 4 months was really extreme.. i should not have done that.. i lost muscle weight as well as i fell sick.. sometimes as soon as i get up from bed i use to feel dizzy and fall back into my bed.. later i consulted a nutritionist and he suggested i have to eat healthy for a good weight loss..
So in the last one month or so i have lost 3 kilos but have gained muscle strength also because I'm having proper macros .. I'm feeling way more energetic and also getting good sleep..
Yes I'm continuing with intermittent fasting, also working out in my Fasting window between 9 am to 11 am .. But please make sure you eat proper amount of protein, fats, carbs and fiber according to your body weight..
Sometimes we lose 3 kilos a month.. sometimes 2.5 kilos.. but that's actually the healthy way of losing weight.. don't do the mistake i did..

One thing I would like to point out here is you shouldn't cut your calories a lot when doing intermittent fasting. You should have around 1500-2200 calories a day along with intermittent fasting, so that you don't loose muscle mass or you don't become weak
That wont happen studys already proves you wont lose that much muscle when doing IF.
Keep calm and listen to your body if it really needs energy...

Bro you said that you only drank water during IF. But as we all know drinking coffee with plain water and no sugar or green tea with warm water doesn't have any calories. Why couldn't we drink them? They do not spike insulin as they have 0 to 3-4 calories?

I ate as normal like I usually eat and thought I will just lose weight, when I should have ate less than the calories I needed for my body and metabolism. I did lose 3 kg somehow with exercises. I was stressed out trying to eat all my daily meals in limited time, I felt I was going to blow up. I prefer eating small meals but more frequent, it works better for me doing so.
I ate my first meal on 1 pm and then directly on 7pm nothing b/w it! But i lose only 3kgs.. can u tell me what wrong am doing
Anju, how long have you been doing IF. Every diet works for 45 days only because your body get used to it and then you have to change or tweak the diet.

Weightloss is a journey in itself. Healthy habits and lifestyle can make you loose weight so easily. I took 2 week 1000 & 2 week 2000 jump rope challenge just with a 15 - 30 minutes workout you can loose upto 5 kgs in a month which is awesome 👌. Instead of just thinking we should be little active and we can loose weight slowly. We should not follow crash diet instead eat fresh homemade food and quit Packaged Food, junk food, fried food and sweets for healthy weightloss.

You can eat whatever you like bit reduce the intake of carb heavy products. In keto carb should not be more than 20-30 gms inna day. Being indian, it takes a lot to leave roti and rice altogether and keto also seems tasteless. So best is reduce the 8 window to 6 hours window and reduce the frequency of your meals. In this meals you can eat whatever you like in moderation.

Unless and until you are keeping a count of calories you consume in your eating window you can keep going. There is no such thing as 45 days benchmark. You can and you will see results for ur entire life with this lifestyle.

It's not necessary that you have to eat idli or dosa. You can eat anything light and healthy
