I weave on a rigid heddle loom. This looks similar, but the ability to clamp on a pre- wound warp is calling to me. Can you do patterns on this loom or would your pattern be the changing or adding of yarn as you weft? God bless.
I’m sorry but you have a rather hard edged view of none saori weaving. There is just as much flexibility and fun and using of different yarns in non saori weaving. The only difference I’m seeing is the loom and mindset. And in truth we don’t have pre-wound warps.
Love my SAORI loom! Prue introduced me to this type of weaving and I'm hooked! She's such a great teacher and mentor.
Beautifully spoken and explained, thanks Prue!
Thanks Tammy! :)
I am thinking this could be a good hobby for me. I don't do anything creative and not 'crafty'. but always been interested in weaving.

For taller weavers there are accessories to raise height for loom

Please show your finished weaving. This was more of an ad for the loom.
She got paid to do this commercial.
