I started my UA-cam channel 3 years ago, and struggled for years to find my footing. This year, I started making changes that has led to the growth of my channel to almost 100k subscribers. In this video, I'm sharing everything I've learned so far about getting subscribers on UA-cam - including things to avoid if you want to grow your channel. I know a lot of you are interested in pursuing UA-cam as a full time career, so I really hope this is helpful!

the universe really does work in mysterious ways ㅠㅠ i was just about to have an emotional break down over a video i’ve been trying to create that i am uploading tomorrow and my broll was coming out great but my main footage is not coming out how i want to or how i’m envisioning it. and this, especially the ending is what i needed to watch and hear. thank you! ^^

That’s so crazy bc that’s how I felt about this video. When that happens I always say the b-roll/editing can make up for it!😂 So glad the timing was perfect, wishing you all the best! ❤️

Yesterday was a filming day for me because I was off and I really enjoyed doing it. I see why youtubers become full time. I want to be a full time youtuber and I’m literally acting like one by simply recording myself...it’s so much fun.. I love learning new editing skills. I work at a hospital full time. I know I will miss it but I’m so excited for my new journey 🤍🤍🤍

Great video Lynette, thank you 🙏 I have only found your channel today but you have given me plenty of food for thought. I started my channel a few months ago on my spiritual journey and what i learned through the dark night of the soul. It seems to be doing well and i have 720 subscribers already 😁 I have been nervous to venture away from the spiritual topic because i didnt want to lose any of them, but your videos have reassured me that its probably a good choice and will ultimately help me grow.... im also not (or so i think) a very creative person and so this was stalling me also. but as you say in your video "our subs often watch us for our personalities and not just for our content" and my subs are always telling me how much they can relate to me. Thank you for your content, its really helping stir up my thoughts. Much love and best wishes Toby 🙌❤

This video was the first thing that popped up and I can just already feel this is a sign for me to just keep going and not overthink anything and just be authentically me. I started my channel around when I was a 7th grader back in 2019 and I honestly just did it for fun not knowing what I was doing but I took a time off on my channel but then I realize when I went back to my old videos watching them. How much I missed creating content and being happy, so this year is my year to take my channel seriously and accomplish the goals that I have for my channel. I honestly love your videos.🥰Your such an amazing person and just being on your channel inspires me to become a better version of myself.

Thank you for this! Another piece of advice that I have found so helpful is "finished is better than perfect" in regards to consistency. My videos aren't perfect and usually right when I upload them, I can think of something I could have done differently but I use that energy to make my next video better! I literally have that saying on a post it note on my bathroom mirror. It keeps me from not overthinking creating and editing.
