The EPs are so underrated. I listen to them daily, well I listen to them all daily 😂 One and Two are both amazing, both so different but stunning. I can’t wait for you to hear Nazareth when you get to Two. Oof 🔥. Ready and waiting for Fields Of Elation next 🤣🖤
Hi Ben. Vessel's vocals on these early Sleep Token songs are very reminiscent of his previous band. Even though Vessel confirmed his identity on TMBTE, I'm still reluctant to ask reactors to react to his previous band even though a couple of the songs are worth listening to. Maybe if Vessel ever properly reveals himself, then we may get reactions to his previous stuff. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
Lots of new ST fans since Take Me Back To Eden came out, so most people will be suggesting those songs. Old fans know what's up when with the old songs because years later they still sound as good and never get old.
They were/ are Picasso's of music from the start... so sweet, I'm glad most of the waking world has picked up on them, thank you. Your right, so underrated! 😊
So, I would have recommended older Sleep Token a while ago but I think there’s a distinctly different vibe to the earlier stuff that not everyone might dig as much as the newer stuff. One is just dark, man. The imagery, sound and lyrics indicate somewhat of a different direction than they ended up going (or it’s what was planned all along, which wouldn’t surprise me). Two is where you see modern Sleep Token start to take shape. Thread the Needle is absolutely brutal, though. The early falsetto lulls you in and then they rip your face off. Plenty more where that came from. 😁
Indeed, and the video shows the ritual between him and Sleep, when he offers his heart to become Sleep's vessel. You can hear a heartbeat sound in the song.
While my body recovers from an amazing show from Enterprise Earth, Fallujah, and Zenith Passage last night . My boy Ben has a big stank drop that puts elephants to shame 🤓 I really love the much colder and dreary feels of the eps. Oh and dude i just seen that the video of the new Tesseract track dropping tomorrow is like 11 minutes long. I know they've hammered out this whole conceptual universe for this project, I'm just hoping the music wasn't second in the process. Anyways I'll let you know in a comment the second i see it if i think it's truly a thing to experience!
Sleep Token is one of those that I want to like more than I actually do. I do like this more than others. Probably that Deftones similarity you mentioned. It's just that particular style of heavy guitar that doesn't connect with me usually for whatever reason. But occasionally it does, it's weird. I can respect it nonetheless though.
@@xRAGECXRCUSx OK, cool. Still going to check out your other Sleep Token vids for other exceptions, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for any from that one.
Actually this isn't fetal vessel this is toddler... And I believe in this video he is summoning sleep for the first time maybe. At least it looks like some kind of ritual.
6:35 vessel is born

Nazareth is literally my favorite ST song. No questions.

It’s so good it’s magic ✨😉🎶🔥✌🏽love me some sleep token 🫶🏽
yesssss!
this was when they were very subconsciously influenced by Sigur Rós so there's a lot of sonic depth and only hints of the pop they'd lean into later
Second song and the first time hearing their voice. Enjoyed the lyrics.
Their old ones are the best 🙏🏼
Wonder if people realize this song is totally about having sex😂

It's kinda different from what you started with but these is even his obsession with sleep began
