I’m a fan of blue cat audio
Patchworks is great and you can load tons of instruments, Fx ect
Also it allows me to use any vst I protools as a wrapper even though PTs only allow AAX

The latency is fine imo. I suppose running it through your audio interface as usual will be good

Another solution is Nektarine and if you have Nektar T series you can do whatever you want even opitons wich are hidden 😉 you can download Nektarine

There is a way to download unofficially Nektarine and it works with every MIDI
