It’s the difference between men and women in my experience. In the workplace the older guys will generally take the younger guys under their wing and try to impart some worldly knowledge because they don’t want to see these young versions of themselves make the same (expensive) mistakes they made. There is a genuine desire there to help these younger guys not fall into the traps they fell into. With women however, it’s almost the exact opposite. They give advice to sabotage relationships because they’re jealous of youth and beauty.

I’ll tell you exactly how, I am in the same situation as you with two boys. Explain to them how some people can manipulate situations, and relationships. Explain to them the foundation for a healthy life: stable job, fulfilment, exercise, financial stability and explain that it’s not worth chasing women, focus their time attention and lives on reaching their own personal goals.

And the fact that you can never tell whether you found her or not, until after the fact (well into retirement). Statistically more than half of the marriages fail and more than 80% of divorces are initiated by the woman. Of the half that don't fail, more than half are sexless. If someone gives me a parachute and says there is a 50% chance it won't open... I'm not jumping. And I didn't even get into my personal experience with a failed marriage and the learnings afterwards. The most damaging thing a man can do in life is to marry the wrong woman. And then comes the advice above... Can you trust anyone?

I'm 52. I've had younger women interested in me for some time now. One in particular fits this. She's mid-20s. Beautiful, but somewhat easy and very high maintenance. She pursued me for over a year, but I would not relent. Her body count is not low. I rejected her and continue to do so because I call her a walking Petri dish for STDs. She's never been tested as far as I know. But I simply don't want that. If she were not as she is, I might actually consider a relationship with her. Or least try to take one on. But it is what it is and I'm not interested. This video simply makes my case even stronger in going my own way with items I hadn't considered.

In my late 30s i was woken up by a random number. Turns out the girl who was stringing me along throughout high school wanted to give it a try. What pissed me off is we hasn't spoken in years, she somehow knew my work history and was upset when i mentioned im already married. Needless to say i wouldn't be upset if i never speak to her again.
I tell young people if they’re in a long term relationship with somebody they really love and the feeling is mutual that that is as good as it gets and just to get married and get on with living a responsible adult life they aren’t “missing out” by partying and living care free until their middle age they’re actually wasting their most important and productive years when they should be building their future together.
There are a lot of miserable people out there, and this woman is one.
Her advice was horrible, but she's actually happily married, with kids, doing what she loves for a job. So calling her miserable might be hasty.

I only see 20 year olds as people without fully formed frontal lobes, who need to be nurtured and protected. I can only speak for myself, though. I think her comment was just a flippant reflection of the very normalised, deeply damaging hookup culture of the west.
I don't think this rivalry is conscious. Most of our actions, male or female, are driven by unconscious instincts and beliefs that never come to the surface. I rely on honest friends to tell me when I'm doing something that I'm not aware of. In the study "off with her hair" I'm sure the women recommending shorter haircuts to women of similar attractiveness were not registering the rivalry consciously at all.
I have 3 boys and I feel disheartened that I am going to have to pay for background checks on my son's perspective wives. I’m coming up on our 30 year anniversary. I was a virgin for my wife when we got married at 35 and 34. It was so difficult then when I was dating as I always worried that woman would think I didn’t like them or I was gay. Choose a woman who wants a family with a man who will be faithful to her, be a good husband, and an upstanding example of manhood to his children. The guys who want to play the field are part of the problem.

They are already that. Respectable young women wouldn't be asking advice at this stage of their life from a woman like this. Descent human beings are raised with values by their parents or guardians from the beginning. A "good" man will look for a wife who's family focused. Likewise, a respectable woman will not be found at bars, in the club, or hanging out with those who do.

First says that young men are really immature and not relationship material, so "Bang the all".. *Then* says to the girl "When *you're* older and *you're* ready", go for the relationship. Sounds like deep inside, she knows that it's the *women* that are immature and not ready for a relationship, and by getting a huge body count, she's ensuring she never will be.
I've always been a dude that crosses bridges when I get to them. I don't keep track of people and if they're cheating or not...but if I catch you, that's on you to suffer that consequence, not me!

The woman who was to occupy most of my life sure did that - she was a teenager in Sweden in the 70s, where the notion of free sex had run riot, and girls had the insane opportunity to have sex with literally billions of men all around the world while their own women were locked in (for us too, of course) as they always had been (in Sweden too, not long befor that). We guys could only watch, contemplate what was going on, cry and nauseate. If we as much as suggested an objection to the whole thing we were told by way of the leading feminists of the days that we were chauvinists and reactionaries. Who won this sad and ugly war? I don't know. It was a disaster, like most wars.
That's funny cause as I'm old enough I have observed the full life cycle of that idea. And let me tell you, it usually doesnt get better. The men women desperately try to date seriously in their 30s arent any better than the guys they dated in their late teens and early 20s. Except that now they're alot older, and she's too, so both are less inclined to adapt to each other.
Here's a better strategy: Just date intentionally when you're younger. If you want a mature guy when you're 30, you have to help build him. When you fuck everyone except the good guys, why the fuck would anyone want to be good?
