3Portlands is one of my favorite aspects of SCP. It’s a city state that has openings in all 3 Portland’s, but it’s not made up of them. It’s a Nexus, meaning it’s a self contained community where the anomalous is not hidden. Also it’s the biggest success of the UIU, as they managed to hide it from the SCP foundation for a long time
No kidding, I seriously had to do a double when the narrator just ever so casually mentioned the 2 _LOCAL _*_GHOSTS_* that were just vibing on the beach... and somehow, it only got worse from there!?!? 😂😂😂

Oh this isn't a broken veil story. Three Portlands as an extradimensional haven contains Sidhe and many anomalous creatures who live and work regularly.
I feel this SCP could become a great ally and asset in dealing with the other Nautical SCPs out there. I can already see it fighting alongside the colossal mantis-shrimp and keeping the flesh horses at bay.
I love the what ifs, but I’m glad to see new stuff. Though I’d still like to see Dr.Manhattan or Franklin richards in a video. Maybe they meet 343 or 239. I wonder if under circumstances the clockworks could turn a person into Dr.Manhattan via the very fine setting

Way I see it, the part with three Portlands appears to be something of an misunderstanding. The tugboat used to be nonsintent until it started absorbing the blood of humans. From their it gained human like intelligence and by extension its own interpretation of what it thought really happened. But that wasn't the case.
Author here, and you’re close! You’re right the the boat misinterpreted what happened, but it was always sapient (it used to be a man, if you could believe it). The Vampire Boat is from a parallel universe but crossed over into the Foundation’s universe, it thought it was still in its own world and mistook its attackers for the Boatswains. I didn’t make that explicit in the article, so I can see why SCPE would misinterpret it

If They wouldnt repeat 5 or 6 same old scps, then maybe people might want actually The crossovers. Christ.

I know we’ve talked about destroying SCP-682 a lot but here me out, what if we put Jack Bright’s necklace onto scp-682? Since just coming into contact with the necklace causes Dr.Bright to take over, could the SCP-682 theoretically be destroyed on a mental level thus either loosing its ability to adapt to surrounding attacks and being able to be killed or Dr.Bright could choose not to adapt to the attack and be destroyed that way? Frankly I think Jack Bright as 682 would be equally terrifying and awesome😅.
