I really like the symbolism behind this scene. The back-and-forth transition from Mufasa being the newly appointed King of Milele and roaring on Pride Rock for the first time to Kiara roaring at the same spot shows the parallels between the two, connecting the past, present, and future as both lions roar on Pride Rock. Mufasa started it, and now his legacy is passed down to Simba and then Kiara. To top it off, Mufasa's spirit appears in the sky before Kiara, signifying that he and the spirits of the past kings lives within Kiara, as she will be the future queen of Pride Rock.
You can even see the expression on his face as he now descends as Scar. In the beginning, as Mufasa walks by Scar, we can Scar's soft yet depressed grin indicating that a small part of Taka is proud of Mufasa. But then he remembered everything back. How Mufasa took his royal bloodline, how Sarabi chose his brother over him, and how he lost everything. For a brief moment, Taka was glad for Mufasa. But the lingering bitterness and hate within him turns him back to the vengeful Scar.
@@afifzahiruddinrohaizan52I feel like Mufasa turned him into scar after he chose not to forgive him. I feel like the original lion king could have been avoided if mufasa didn’t do that
sad part about taka, he was kind to mufasa, he could have been a better and supportive brother to him, and make an effort to better himself, but in the end, hatred and jealousy consumed him, as the hyenas consumed scar
seeing this scene brings tears to my eyes, after witnessing mufasa and taka/scar's adventures, seeing mufasa take role as king and roaring and scar walking off, but knowing how their stories ended, makes me wish that they could've fixed their relationship after kiros was defeated, before it was too late
Mufasa: We were given the chance to create a new kingdom, and you chose to embrace evil, abuse what you were promised at birth and tyrannically rule it with with hatred and jealousy with no mercy, just like Kiros. You have betrayed the Pride Lands and all of it's animal inhabitants...and you betrayed...me. Go. Take what's left of Kiro's pride and those gluttonous hyenas, leave this entire kingdom and never, ever, ever return. You are...banished from Milele. (Taka/Scar's face contorts into shock and remorse before glaring at Mufasa for taking everything from him.) It didn't have to end this way.
Mufasa: Now, go!! Scar, You are hereby BANISHED from Milele/Pride Lands, FOREVER!!! Taka/Scar: This isn't over, brother!!! This is just the beginning!!! I HATE YOU!!!! Narrator: WOW!!! After Kiros was defeated, Taka was actually became known as Scar and thanks to Kiros' claws!! And now, Scar was BANISHED from Pride Lands, and Mufasa and Sarabi was became a new King and Queen of Pride Lands before Simba was born in the origin story as the flashback scenes!!!! What a plot twist!!!
Fun fact: Much like the previous film, most of the CGI visual designs and sound designs for this film came straight from Disney's Animal Kingdom, Florida. Adult Simba's likeness is based on Dakari, the park's (now retired and rehomed) male lion resident. Rafiki's tree, if you look closely, has animal carvings in the trunk, branches, and roots, just like the real life tree of life at DAK which measures 145 feet tall, 50 feet wide at its base, and has over 300 animal carvings. The mountain scene, while technically taking place on Mt Kilimanjaro, also drew visual aspects from Expedition Everest from the park. The baby elephants shown in the film bear striking resemblance to baby elephant Corra at the park. The rhythm, tunes, and visuals to the songs give the same vibes as the live show Festival of The Lion King. So yes, Disney's Animal Kingdom comprised a large chunk of creativity to this film.
I wanna feel bad for Taka but on the other hand, dude he just unintentionally stole your girl. Like- dude you can find yourself another girlfriend like- REALLy?
I feel sad for taka how a royal blood prince help a stranger and consider him brother and later that stranger sidelined taka,,,he lost his family ,love and remain alone where mufasa get his mother back and everyone loves him
You wrong Mufasa don't sidelined Taka/Scar , Taka betrayal Mufasa and joins the Kiros and the pride lands is not Taka's kingdom, Taka's kingdom is destroyed by Kiros
For one, Mufasa didn’t “take” anything from Scar. He betrayed him due to his own jealousy. On another note, Kovu will be the future King and heir he chose but it didn’t happened in the way Scar would of hoped. At the end Taka/Scar got what he wanted through Kovu.
@@ZendigoPlays I think that’s irony, probably a revenge on Simba with the mere fact Scar’s own dad just took Mufasa in. What’s interesting with Kovu he looks like he could be Scar’s son. Going back to reality, we know this prequel is not canon to the 1994 Lion King or Simba’s pride. I honestly wished they didn’t do this film.

I felt goosebumps when Mufasa roared, as did his granddaughter Kiara, and the appearance of Mufasa roaring in the sky was a legendary shot.
I love how they included the original music in this scene ❤
Taka: I always wanted a brother
(Years Later, now as Scar)
Scar: Long Live the King (kill his brother)

I’m going to make a Q&A if you go to community you all will see it
Preciosooooo
Thank you! Cheers!
The epic ending
mufasa is better king than taka afk scar
Scar is trash compared to the legendary mafasa
Should have done real lion roar at the end
All lion roars are real on there now, all roars and sounds are real ones recorded from real lions..

Kovu would be King the one Scar chose. It’s ironic now with this version.
