Wow.. i mean, wow. Hearing Nick's voice is like returning an old, familiar home.. full of mystery, magic and passion. So F'n cool to hear T.A. again. Literally one of my all time favorite bands. Tiger Army Never Dies!!
Probably my favorite Tiger Army album. All the others are great but this one was so hauntingly beautiful it gives me goosebumps. TIGER ARMY NEVER DIES!!!!!
Like ancient glaciers cutting wide We leave our mark upon the Earth When the glaciers melt and fall, evaporate and dry You will sense our spirit here when memories have died Change water... to fire Falling into the night A love call... burning forever Through your heart into your mind Let the fire fall tonight We're going to bring back the old ways That you never knew, but somehow lie within And when you look up to the heavens That's a good place to begin Change water... to fire Falling into the night A love call... burning forever Through your heart into your mind Let the fire fall tonight Change water... to fire Falling into the night A love call... burning forever Through your heart into your mind Let the fire fall tonight Let the fire fall tonight Let the fire fall tonight Let the fire fall tonight
Ive been reading how people dont like the new sound Tiger Army has in this album. I personally like it do to the fact that it has a 50 60 kind of feel to it. Ya we are use to the old Physcobilly Rockabilly sound from the past we are use to from Tiger Army but remember times change and if you dont change your gonna be sitting on the what happen to the band list. To me it shows how versatile Nick13 and Tiger Army can be. Shows growth as a band. Welcome back Tiger Army. I might be 43 but will always be a Fan!!! Tiger Army never dies!!!
Agreed. Bands change their sound all the time. There are just those few exceptions like Pennywise or Social D who still put out great albums with the same style of music.
I live & work in Yosemite National Park and all the tourists have been gathering to witness the firefall. always reminds me of this song and vice versa.

Anybody going to the Spirit Hall show in Pittsburgh on the 20th? I somehow managed to win free tickets, haven't seen these guys in years so majorly psyched!
The tracks I've heard so far from the new album are great songs. I like the direction they've gone, its a bit more refined as far as sound and production go. At times I do think the drum and guitar need to be a bit more up front as far as the mix goes, but that's the only complaint so far. I do get some of the old schoolers not liking it because it is quite different from the old stuff, which I also like. I think these new songs will be best appreciated when played live.
+Owen Davies Well, I wouldn't mind it if his voice still had that old-school Psychobilly power & passion. To be fair, I only ever liked their first album. At the tail end of Punk scene. Unfortunately, we may never see another revival like the 90s.
Upon first listening to this, I was definitely surprised because it sounded nothing like anything Rise typically puts out, but then I kept listening and it's just very repetitive. Which I suppose is okay if you're into it, but I wouldn't see myself listening to it in my car or at home.
Is that a real person doing the backup vocal or is it a theremin? It sounds more human, but I think it could go either way... In any case, more theremin: It's classic 60's horror.
+PsychobillyEntertainment Dude, genres can share scenes. They're both from the South Bay scene. Afi has songs with Nick 13 and Tiger Army has songs with Davey Havok. They've also worked together on other projects.
+PsychobillyEntertainment ya man Davey havoc is in tons of tiger army songs and nick 13 features on the background vocals of like the first 5 afi records lol and the old bassist from tiger army was actually the original afi bassist if im not correct
ehh....not what I was expectating from the return of Tiger Army. Nothing beats out the first 2 records unfortunately and im okay with that, but this is mediocre at best. Just feels a little tooooo bland of a song. I'm not feeling the chorus... Sounds like b-side material. I'll still spin this whole record when it drops though & give it a chance.
+Lux Occulto I call it like it is bro. Drums are really bland and boring in this track along with the rhythm. The other 2 tracks so far are brilliant, I agree.
Any singer should have good diction, alright so since you guys have a fucky logic, lets just put random ''silent'' letters into words without having too much forethought on getting the message across at all (y) good job guys, you really want the band you like to get better right? nah it's cool, stay at the same level just for your sake. God damn is everyone allergic to critique...
you look exactly like the queers the wear that clothing from your profile pic. clean shaven and hipster hair. dont comment on shit you have zero clue about
ok 1) You must be blind cuz I am not clean shaven. 2) Lol what do I have to know? Its terrible, boring, poor excuse for music. 3) If were judging from profile pics, at least I have a face to my picture. You're a fuckin street lol.
Shawn Brase A "boring excuse for music" is a bad way of saying "it just isn't my taste". It's still music, it was produced and took time and had more meaning than a lot of other crap played more often. But just because it isn't your taste doesn't make it less musical. Just makes you come across as an uneducated, immature kid.
one of the most significant artists of our time. one. in. a. million.

Beautiful and atmospheric as always. Like a cold autumn night. The most consistent band I know.

Amazing!!! 💕💕💕🎸🎸🎸
I love this album! It enhances their old sound. 💖
I'm so in love with these lyrics. Things are-a-changin

T.A.N.D!
Perfect Song The Old School 🤓
+Emicartian Nothing oldschool about this song Im afraid
Upon first listening to this, I was definitely surprised because it sounded nothing like anything Rise typically puts out, but then I kept listening and it's just very repetitive. Which I suppose is okay if you're into it, but I wouldn't see myself listening to it in my car or at home.
it has a killers tone to it
never fucking die!
Is that a real person doing the backup vocal or is it a theremin? It sounds more human, but I think it could go either way... In any case, more theremin: It's classic 60's horror.
It is a real person - Savi Labensart
Indeed. I received the albums shortly after and carefully read the cd liner. A hauntingly perfect voice.
Fuck yesss!! Great track!
私は敷物の栄光に浴しながらこれに耳を傾けなければなりません。
fuckimg love this
Fuckin amazing!
fuck yeah
0'75 speed, the drum fills are godly
заебись
Sounds like AFI, mainly what this vocalist does with his voice, definitely some influence there
Haha, they came from the same scene. They've collaborated dozens of times.
+ninjalemurdude No they did not....Tiger Army is of the "Psychobilly" genre
+PsychobillyEntertainment Dude, genres can share scenes. They're both from the South Bay scene. Afi has songs with Nick 13 and Tiger Army has songs with Davey Havok. They've also worked together on other projects.
+PsychobillyEntertainment ya man Davey havoc is in tons of tiger army songs and nick 13 features on the background vocals of like the first 5 afi records lol and the old bassist from tiger army was actually the original afi bassist if im not correct
+Lionheart Studios The drummer from AFI also originally drummed for Tiger Army
so many jabronis, this album rules, kills anything they ever did before
any body know the name of the girl singing in the background???
don't think that's a person
Damn this is awesome
Afi
Tiger army
Bad religion
Rise against
Anti flag
Billy talent
The best in the buissness of punk
NORM VKATILO
What's up with the album title, how do you pronounce that? V•••-
Jackson The Epic 5
How come i get the idea this is about the so called sustainable community...
:v
ehh....not what I was expectating from the return of Tiger Army. Nothing beats out the first 2 records unfortunately and im okay with that, but this is mediocre at best. Exactly how I feel about it
Right! These guys inspired so many psycho bands and to hear them sound this way is just unbelievable. Even Nicks lyrics got a lil corny.
I don't really see any of you mediocre keyboard warriors writing mind-blowing tunes. 😂 Y'all be living in the past. Embrace the eternal present.
+Lux Occulto I call it like it is bro. Drums are really bland and boring in this track along with the rhythm. The other 2 tracks so far are brilliant, I agree.
After preordering and listening to the 2 tracks already released, it's actually pretty good. I'm looking foreword to hearing the rest of the album.
I wish the singer would stop putting h's in words that don't have h's
is it that hard to have proper diction when you sing?
(h)youre be(h)ing du(h)umb r(h)ight n(h)ow.
+MrCheesethecheese these are all silent H's, so wat's your point, onestly?
Any singer should have good diction, alright so since you guys have a fucky logic, lets just put random ''silent'' letters into words without having too much forethought on getting the message across at all (y) good job guys, you really want the band you like to get better right? nah it's cool, stay at the same level just for your sake.
God damn is everyone allergic to critique...
+Apex Predator Someone can't take a joke
+Vincent Gilmore
you think music is a joke?
you make me sick ;)
LOL ew. Sounds like something you'd hear in aeropostale or american eagle
you look exactly like the queers the wear that clothing from your profile pic. clean shaven and hipster hair. dont comment on shit you have zero clue about
+Devine Street what's wrong with being clean shaven 😂
+Devine Street I shouldn't be laughing so hard holy shit
ok 1) You must be blind cuz I am not clean shaven. 2) Lol what do I have to know? Its terrible, boring, poor excuse for music. 3) If were judging from profile pics, at least I have a face to my picture. You're a fuckin street lol.

Meh.
Para mi el peor album de tiger army. Esto ya no es punk ni pshycobilly
Bloated and pretentious garbage so far. It's like they forgot to write songs with a hook .
