I just wanna let this out here I don't have anywhere to say this comfortably
Ive been feeling like I suck at every ar subject we have rn. I always have a hard time doing plates and unable to pass them on time I feel like I'm going to fail due to these. It's almost making me lose my motivation bec even if I want to pass them on time, I have a hard time finishing them within the time left. I dont even know if I can make it but I felt better when you said that it doesn't mean you'll suck at something forever if you suck at it first.
I wish there's still hope for me to make up for the grade I lost due to those late submissions and I swear I'm going to do better for our next plate. I'll always remember those words to help me get through this sem!!! Thank You Again♡

Wow i never knew about you being on the top 5th of ALE. Congratulations on that. For me, my time in apprenticeship taught me a lot in the practice and in the field as well. I managed to pass the board even without the proper review (just a matter of self review, just took the refresher at CDEP). Too bad HOA/TOA pulled my grades back coz my scores for the day 2 exam was really high. A tip for those newly graduated arkis, never underestimate your apprenticeship. My comment only proved that your points on your videos were correct. Keep it up man. Always digging your content

@@LlyanAustria eyyyy. Cdep really produced a lot of toonotchers in the past years and they still do until now. Also i just want to add in the study habits during the review, its not about how many things, modules, reviewers youve read in a day, its about how you absorb all of these things and how well you comprehend. The key to my passing was "understanding". Understanding the question 1st before answering. 2nd day of the exam is really exhausting, but once you understand the problems that was given, itll be a breeze.
@an nyl actually what i am teaching to those who are starting up is, never go after money. Its the experience that you should go after. In my 1st job as an apprenticei only manage to earn 8k per month, then 10k/month. Money will just come after if youre successful sa craft mo. Kasi if youre core is just earning, youll lose your passion. Also if you really wanted to learn a lot, i suggest you apply to small architectural firm, a deisgn build firm also is ideal its because youll learn a lot from it. From architectural detailing, to estimates, to site supervision, to project management and then back to architectural drawing. Youll satisfy your hunger for knowledge. That is how i started. That is how i learned a lot. And that helped me pass my ALE. I know the struggles of those who graduated arki that came from a poor family, i too came from a poor family but thats what makes a success sweeter. Experience muna habulin mo. Magaganda din sa credentials yun.
@an nyl There are a lot in manila pal, try SMDC or Ayala, personally i went to one where i will get a great learning experience, even though my salary is just 7k a month minus taxes, it was worth it because of all the things i learned. The problem with going to large firms is that they will just turn you into a draftsman, and you will not develop your architectural design skills and this will hurt you financially in the future.

omg im so early ahhh! oh thank you!! im currently 4th year student and because of this i now know what challenges i may have encounter! thank you soo much! at first i was doubting myself if i could really be an architect because i suck at math and that im not that good at drawing and when im measuring i dont know the right measure or angle soo that made me think of another course but when i found your video i found hope that i can do it! soo thank you very much! i watch other arcgitectural video but cannot seem to understand them but you,i could really relate (maybe because were both filipino and love the accent make me feel at home so that make me feel comfortable and actually listening to you) thank you for being my inspiration and i hipe you will be my mentor in the future as you said XD! At my 4th year and I'm really thinking about giving up from how I'm totally gonna end up delaying another two years from failing class etc. Like bruh even at this stage I'm still bad at everything that maybe even a first year could do. Just glad to know there're still ways to go around it even with this and that in life.

Hello there pal!!:) Thank you for your compliments, to find a ghost mentor just search some popular architects and start studying their works and how they conceptualize ideas and projects. In my first year i thought of giving up too, but just like anything in life, beginning something is always the hardest part.:) if by the end of 1st year you're still struggling with architecture maybe you could try a different course that you will enjoy too:)
