@Danger Noodle Your gang is waaay cooler than mine. Sadly my friends dont like it when we have women in the gang. So its impossible for us to land a robin or a lily.
Im a marshal I have a Lilly, but there’s no Barney or ted roaming around, the dream is dead.

Ah man design classes are the hardest. You really have to fit your design to what the instructor likes since they're the "clients".

this is so true about architects being romanticized! even in my country during soviet union, there was a popular lovestory film about an architect, and since then everyone wanted to go to uni to become an architect! and everyone dreamed of marrying one 😀

A lot of people told me that I am just like Ted Mosby. That had me thinking. After that I fell in love with architecture. So yeah, it began with How I Met Your Mother
In this serie I understood that whenever one of the characters tells a story Ted tells the story from the point of view of the character, that’s why I think that the svens presentation wasn’t that exaggerated, it was only the way Barney got it... it is really hilarious though

In my year level in college a lot of my colleagues were talented artist. It was how a lot of us started our interest in this profession so it really just depends on the person, but I won’t say most can’t draw. Everyone in my firm actually can wonderfully.

Thought so too, then I checked again and yes it is. I liked that ginger bread house, everytime I go to NPHotel it makes me smile. Happy to know that the great sir Llyan designed that. 😁😁😁
1) Make a scale model of your project.
2) Crouch down to put the window or door at eye level, and imagine you're walking onto the real building.
Side note, I used to do the same with toy cars. "Varoom! Varoom!"

I’m here for advice. I’m only in secondary school but I am intrigued in my future. I have seen many architecture university courses I like the look of however, I am quite interested in landscape architecture. Do you think doing a uni course on architecture and then an MA in landscape architecture would be best? I feel this would give me more options?
