Very true I was at the store few days ago and had iPad Pro 13 inch m4 vs iPad Air 11 inch and there wasn’t really any difference to me in the store could have been lighting speed was there also both models were WiFi only as well . Both very fast the only difference was the sizes …. I might go with the iPad Air just because the iPad Pro is nice but is it worth almost 3thousand dollars for me probably not for I use it for .. surfing web emails , pay bills … if people are using it for video downloading and happy then I should be happy also ..thanks for sharing

So I'm guessing it might have something to do with the app you're using for note taking. I personally prefer kilonotes and it's free.
I’m loving the new 13” iPad Air, I upgraded from the 11” M1 iPad Pro and I’m so glad I did. My intention was to use it mostly as a second display for work with my MacBook and universal control. However, I now use it everyday for personal use too. I only bring my MacBook if I need to get some serious work done and everything else I do on the iPad Air. I also have the iPad mini 6 which is also great, I use this a lot as a digital notebook and e-reader. The backpack does get a bit heavy when I have to take my work setup out and about, but then I do have 2 displays to work on which not a lot of people have sitting in the office space or coffee shop. Did you notice a difference in latency using the Apple Pencil on 60 hz vs 120hz? I’m afraid my pencil will have noticeable lag while drawing if I get the air.
Most important feature of the M2 airs - no PWM . The pros both the M2 mini lcd and M4 OLED have horrendous PWM flicker. Even if you aren’t consciously aware of it like PWM sensitives, there are many questions as to how healthy screens with PWM are for the eyes. That was one of the reasons that factored into my decision to go with an M2 Air instead with a tried and true Liquid Retina that has NO PWM at all.
People who doesn't want to understand that 60 Hz for Apple is GREAT should not talk online. It's as basic to understand as it is that there are reasons why people like Android over iOS and vica versa. If you're ignorant that's your problem, don't force it on others - solve it the way you can for yourself.

Does your iPad Air also heats up everyday from daily usage? Apple says that’s normal. Heats up normally like warm or very warm depending on how heavy you work? But not hot to point where you can feel burn.. just normal warm or very warm like I said depending on how much you work on it

I'd love 120hz on these too but I would say that's one of the main things that convinces people to move up to the Pro, so don't see them changing that anytime soon.

Either would be better. I have the iPad Air m2, and I am a student. I got it so that I could use the Apple Pencil pro. I highly recommend it, it has more than enough processing power for most things.

I would definitely go for the M2 iPad Air. It’s far superior than the 10th gen iPad. The display, processor and also Apple Intelligence (AI) features coming soon will only work with M2 Air not the 10th gen iPad

Yes in comparison to the 2018 Pro, it’ll definitely be a step up. The only thing you will miss is ProMotion

Depends on usage! If you’re going to do lots of note taking and reading textbooks, iPad Air m2 13” is amazing

Hate that u have them prices. The base model air 13 inch starts at 1100$ in serden and the base pro 13 inch starts at 1750$ here.
If the air would have had pro motion then i would habe choosee that. Dont understand why spple still uses 60hz screens in 2024. Ita kinda ridicilous actually. U can purchade a bade model android tablet and its 120hz.
