Well won't be needing this anymore...*tosses guitar in fireplace* Very well done and super clean playing.
Hahahahahahaha Thank you Keith!!!
Yes very good now where the speed button for this tab lol
Lol
wait until he see serrana
A joke, of course but also a significantly frequent statement in instrumental video comment sections. I never understood some peoples impulse to give up doing something simply because someone else can do something they can’t which they apparently would like to be able to do themselves. Makes me question whether there was really love for the instrument and joy of playing in the first place or if it was more about validation through competition.
Sounds like you are picking every note instead of sweeping, from how clean it is. You hear all notes, no mistakes 😳
Flawless playing mate!
Thank you so much!!!!
@@liverplate aí depois descubro que vc é brasileiro kkkk bom demais
@@iRafaelkr kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk valeu vei!
that’s kko Looureros definition of perfect sweet it should sound as alternate picked one also notice he dropped the distortion a lot like really a lot and still it’s sounds gorgeous
Sweep picking is picking every note but Jason usually would pick instead of using Legato to change directions to make it sound aggressive
Perfect left hand coordination & positioning, clearly played well played !
Thank you so much!!!

Your picking technique is an absolute pleasure to watch.
Insanely clean, unreal
Good God, super clean sweeps! So articulate. 👏 👏 👏
Jason got such a bum deal out of life, I truly wish I could fix him. This was very clean and well done. You did Jason proud on this one
amazing, superb.
amazing performance, one of the best covers i've seen of this song.
Just as I remember.... excellent dude
One of the best arpeggio part performance with tabs

Magnifique !
Sensacional! Impressionante a forma como você toca tão limpo🤯🔥
VALEEEEEU
So clean man.. Excellent
Fantastic playing.
I noticed that you have an interesting technique for manipulating the pick using your thumb which allows you to play tough scale licks fast, like the one at the beginning.
If I understand correctly from looking closely at .25 speed: when you bend your thumb, the pick is slanted slightly upwards (the tip of the pick points a bit to the ground), causing it to be in a "downstroke escape" position (i.e. after you perform a downstroke, you're above the strings; after you perform an upstroke, you're trapped in-between the strings).
On the other hand when you straighten your thumb, the pick is slanted slightly downwards so you're in an "upstroke escape" position (the reverse of above).
So instead of rotating the wrist to change the pick slant, you use your thumb: bend it or straighten it. Which seems to allow changing the slant very quickly, and then playing e.g. 1-note-per-string passages effortlessly.
Could you confirm that this is what's happening? Have you practiced this technique consciously or did you come to you naturally?
If you can bend your thumb, not many people can, wouldn't you use it for your own benefit? I mean, it is something you discover by practising certain techniques, so I guess he discovered that and learnt to master it
Great 👍🏻 job
Killer sweep picking man keep it up!
Thank you so much for the tabs, sir!
Awesome job
This is fantatstic!
Sencasional! o melhor cover! está perfeito! essa música é emocionante!
Muito obrigado!!!
Great Job
great job man...
Bravo 👏
This is crazy! You play with such precision!
Thank you!!!
Wow. Awesome playing
Thank you!!!
Magnifique
After years of playing, most focusing on alternate picking, and blues type guitar, in the last six months I just started working on my sweeping. Had I started from the beginning of my playing, I wouldn't have had the attention span and or the patience to learn it. But since I've been playing, it sorta came naturally since I already knew the shapes. You can do alot more with sweeping then I ever really thought you could. Sorry, rambling, good job man
I feel you man, I’ve been playing for like 9 years and sweeping only really clicked for me like a year ago. You really need to have your left hand technique down before you can really even attempt them. It’s still probably the hardest technique for me tho
Doideira!! Tuas mãos parecem robóticas tocando cada nota com uma precisão absurda. Foda demais
Valeu!
Amazing
Thank you!! 🙏😁❤

monstro demais! da pra ouvir cada nota perfeitamente!
alguma chance de sair algum vídeo ensinando como criar timbres com VST/EQ plugins ou mostrar como você cria os seus no Archetype?
Pretendo sim fazer um video nessa pegada! :D
This is amazing! how long have you been playing? All the notes are crazy clear and super tight sweeps! sounds amazing this song is my final goal as a guitar player and i have a ways away!
🤩🤩💪💪
🙏😁✨❤🤘🎸🔥
Coisa linda!
😁❤
Awesome video and play very inspiring what is your gear set up in signal chain if you don’t mind me asking
Holy shit
"At first, I found it difficult; in the end, it seemed like the beginning."
INCREDIBLE... also, what pick are you using and what thickness is it?
Good night. My name is Amin. I greet you from Argentina. Your technique is admirable. What important and specific recommendation could you give me to develop "sweep picking": hand sessions, posture, practice time, etc. I appreciate your response in advance.
Awesome playing! Do you by chance have the tabs in a downloadle format like PDF or something?
At the age of 19 in 1992, I was learning the arpeggios in this masterpiece and I had my first odd muscle twitch in my forearm. Since then I have slowly wasted away, almost like a slow release version of ALS. I remain undiagnosed Now 30 years later can barely walk. Weird little connection there.
Good stuff - do you have the full tab in a pdf or something?
Flawless! Outrageously good! That one is, ya know, a little difficult, haha. I have a Strandberg myself, but there is some issue with the high E string, no matter what I do it beats and sounds out of tune. Any thoughts?
😬😬😬😬😬😬🔥🔥💪🤘
🙏😁✨❤🎸
Any advice for someone who is looking to sweep pick? Been playing acoustic for 8 years. Finally got my dream electric guitar.
How are you getting that tone? Besides masterful skill.
Thanks!!! I'm using amp sim plugin!
Glad there's tablature, so I can easily play along! 🙄
what are the notes at the top that aren't as bold as the rest? great tabs though man you did that shit so clean too
Show
Valeeeeeeu Junior!!! :D
Essa parte é muito bonita 😢
awesome. Can you please tell the amp setting ?
What kind of guitar is that? Sounds great!
what is your pick thickness ? its looks thin enough to push through the string. awesome precision by the way !
Just confused from the start, instead of hitting that 12th fret looks like you’re using D string to hit that A note? Excellent job🤘🔥
Check out Michael Paouris. He plays arpeggios with alternative picking that fast
what is the best amp setting ? I am always having problem with amp settings.
Which amp sim are you using and do you mind telling me any other important things about your tone like any distortion pedals or eq settings or IR's you use
The fact that you do this on the bridge pickup shows how clean your playing is. Even malmsteen switches to the neck pickup for sweeps because it hides imperfections
Awesome lick! Gotta ask, but how do you position your hand and pick while playing? And does your guitar have to be set up or intonated a certain way for better sweeping? Been working on it myself a while now but can’t quite get it to sound clean, idk if any of that would be a factor?
Nice! Is that a Strandberg without fanfrets? Multiscale was the reason why I never bought one a while ago.
Hey Marcus! No, this is Multiscale. But for the 6 strings guitars, the frets are slightly fanned. Nothing too exaggerated like other brands multiscale guitars. You can barely notice it's a multiscale guitar when playing. Give it a try bro. Strandberg is the best when it comes down to ergonomy! I'm sure you won't regret.
I've finally mastered it... the 1st bar. that is. 😞
Okay dawg, walk me through your picking hand. I’ll assume pick angle, pick slant when shifting strings(forearm rotation), and picking motion coming from wrist. And tight muting with the sweeps and ever note is rested. What am I missing? This is so good!
Man...to be honest, I don't even know what pick slant is. I just set my hand on the bridge so I can mute the strings I am not using...but I also do this with the left hand. And yes...I tend to make the movement with just the wrist. About the pick angle, I adjust it a little bit every time I change the strings, so I dont have to make an arm movement instead nor moving the wrist.
@@liverplate geeze. Idk how you’d be keeping your string changes that clean without the slant. It’s a micro movement and I bet if you had high speed closeup of your hand you’d see it. Basically when moving to the next string you slant the pick slightly in order to “hop” over instead of playing through the string. Most players have to have it pointed out to them and some are just naturals. You clearly are a complete natural my dude. You’re like at THAT level that inspires those that have been playing for over 15 years (like myself). Can’t wait for the next video!
Super clean! How long would you say it took you to play this part at normal speed?
I'm not sure about this, but it seems that changing the pick slant comes from the thumb: bended thumb gives an upward pickslant, straightened thumb gives a downward pickslant. Interesting technique.
Как это вообще возможно?) Это очень круто
Terrible técnica y hermosa guitarra q marca es?
Esta es una strandberg guitar!
just wondering how did you start learning
sweep picking ive been wanting to learn for a while now but cant seem to find out how to do it.
How long did this take you to learn
