  • These levers have such a thin profile & feel great. I am VERY happy with how these feel to operate. Can't get enough of Flo Motorsports. They have some awesome products!

    Best mod I’ve done yet feel in control of the bike properly now and don’t get forearm pain anymore. I glued a piece of black aluminium on the clutch so the neutral start switch is contacted at the closest adjustment

  • @brindlebeard

    I think the LSS levers are made from stock levers. Explains the good fitment. I am not sure on the Flo levers, not feeling them. Problem is there is not much for choice out there if you want a shorter reach on the brake side.

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  2 роки тому +1

      I’ve been told the LSS are made from scratch but who knows. And the flo levers are awesome man. You gotta feel them in person. They are so easy to pull. Way better than the shorty levers

    • @brindlebeard
      @brindlebeard 2 роки тому

      What I want to improve on is the long reach for the brake lever. There are times I want to rest my fingers on the lever while still holding throttle. Do the Flo’s close that distance?

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  2 роки тому

      Absolutely. They’re adjustable with a wide range of close and far distances. It’s not like the old school short levers on sport bikes they just had a click adjuster then you could click into a couple different positions. This is a screw style and it is fully adjustable for a very large amount of space

  • @ChopperFett
    @ChopperFett 3 роки тому +1

    I like them minus the FLO logo on them. I have a set of shortys that are stock levers just milled down that I’ve been meaning to put on. Nice install video man. I’m sponsored by myself as well so I feel ya.

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  3 роки тому

      Yeah I’ve heard that about them. My main thing with the one fngr brand is I did not want to lose my stock clutch perch because I use a mount for that from ram mounds that could not be mounted on the aftermarket perch. And I don’t know anybody in person that has them so I did not want to chance getting them and then being too thick or having the angle be similar to the ones that I just took off. The flower ones are awesome heavenly adjustability. Very very comfortable

      I too am a grown man hahaha but when I put the barnett 25% diaphram spring, barnett pressure plate and barnett extra plate kit in my bike the clutch was stiff as a board and hard to pull and if it wasn't for the 1FNGR easy pull levers I would have been changing the diaphram spring to a SE 10% spring but now it is much easier to pull, and like you say it is confidence inspiring, and they are beautiful! I know some guys that love their FLO Motorsports levers too!

Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah it’s gotta be something you’re doing man :/. It’s either not correctly installed at the transmission side cover or the fine adjustment isn’t all the way in at the frame. Also I’m assuming you’re taking the lever all the way off the perch and putting it in at an angle yes?

    • @disciple777
      @disciple777 2 роки тому +1

      @@RidinDad Yes the lever was off at the perch , but I think i may have found the problem, it was at the transmission side, I took off the air cover and moved the cable forward and it gave me the slack I needed at the lever . This time I installed the lever first then reinstalled the side cover. The only thing I’m worried about is that I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to turn the top adjusting but which I did. But that a mil for getting back to me on this. I appreciate it!

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  Рік тому +1

      I can’t even picture how that would happen. It would have to hit the grip before it hits the housing unless it was installed the wrong way? Without seeing it like I said it’s hard for me to picture what exactly he was having an issue with. But I can tell you a common issue with these are people adjusting the levers we close in and then going to grab them and not being able to engage the clutch fully for engage the brakes fully because the levers hit the grips but that’s a user error because they pull the levers to close with the adjustability. That’s the only issue I’ve ever heard of these and it’s not a real issue obviously. I have no idea what that other guy was talking about or what happened

    • @richardrussell500
      @richardrussell500 Рік тому +1

      He did a video of the install... he adjusted them all the way in and all the way out. Lever hit the switch housing at both extreme adjustments. On his RG, he could not make any other adjustment to prevent the lever from contacting. Maybe the touring levers have a different design? He was getting full clutch disengagement before it made contact. Who knows :-)
