17/101 is the color I've worn for 12 years from Paula Young. It should be platinum blonde & ash brown mix. No gray, but it can look gray because of the ashiness. I love that color. Most of the high-fashion brands have it in their inventory but they don't offer it except in very short wigs.
I really liked Sutton, that was a good transition color for someone going gray.

Do you think the ash brown platinum blend will look good for dark blond going gray?
It really depends on skin tone. From your pictures, you seem to have a warmer skin tone...like me. The only time I feel good in something ashy is when there are warm tones mixed in too. Ash brown/platinum is an ashy look that might wash you out. Were you referring to a specific wig/color from this video?
@FranniesSquare , yes, I think Mandy. I'm not ready to do anything grayer than Aria in mimosa yet, but a few years down the road, yes. But I know we warmer toned women don't tend to gray well.
I wish my lighting was as good as yours. All of them look a little redder and a little blonder on you, which is how I wish they looked on me.
You mean Sunset? Are you looking for something a little redder?
@FranniesSquare yes, but it is a natural looking color on me. Girl mono is the same color but looks darker. I still like her on me. I still think razor cut shag is too dark. I must have been thinking of Tressallure when I said the rooted color was too far down the shaft. And yes, my next wig will be a little redder. Maybe the 26/28/30 on a style that is short without too much volume.
@@murielbaith5445 I do think you'd look good in a color with some red. Have you had red hair before?
@FranniesSquare I've used box color on my hair since a week before my son got married. My best color is called dark golden blond. It starts out looking like 12/26/27. A week of washing later it is golden blond and a little bit red. That's when it looks best on me. It also looks natural with my freckles. But my natural color is more like light bernstein. I really like that color on me, but want something a little redder as well. Do you think the 26/28/30 would be too red? How about a comparison between the two and also the shade on Monika? I was tempted by Monika.

What would you say is the difference between Meritt and Estetica's Kennedy? The measurements are exactly the same. It seems to me like maybe it's just a difference in the placement of the part?
The part is different, but so is the overall shape. Kennedy kind of bows out and is razored on the bottom. I find Meritt falls straighter. Did you see the interview with Grace, the Estetica designer? Are any of them heat sensitive?
None of them are heat friendly. Estetica's heat friendly line should be out soon.😁❤️

Why are there not a better selection of red hair as well as curly, everything is straight. I have naturally curly red hair in a short stacked bob. I have not seen anything like that anywhere. I love my color, cut and curl it's just thinning more than I am comfortable with😂
