I just received one of these D300 200V 2.1 amp 1/3 HP models from a nursing home or rehabilitation center and was told that you had to move it through the 3 gears or phases and it didn't always turn on or respond so my question is where do I begin and is it even worth messing with because it was offered up for scrap metal which isn't worth much. I was quoted a .05 a lb price for it as is from the scrap yard.
