Thank you for posting this!!! I've been a fan of the Cabs since the 70s. It's so refreshing to see Mellophones as a featured soloist. I'm a mello player for the Florida Brass Drum and Bugle Corps on medical hiatus looking so forward to returning later this summer!!! Since the mid 70s I've been influenced by the Cabs, we played a lot of tunes from them in high school from the mid 70s to the early 80s!!! Even our uniforms were exactly the same except for the colors!!! Again Thank You for posting!! Brought back a lot of memories and has me chomping at the bit to get back playing!!!!!

Hi David, YOU'RE VERY WELCOME!! I try to get the corps on video every time we see you. I will be making my next attempt in Clifton and then in Kingston. I'll try to meet up w/ you at the shows. What do you play? I marched with Capitol Brass for 2 seasons and Bayonne for 1 season. Friends of mine just came over to the Alumni Corp from Bayonne. He plays Contra and she plays Mellophone, you might know who I'm talking about. (I don't like putting peoples names up w/o them being aware of it first) Hope to meet you in Clifton, Mike

I remember playing "Macarena" in 83 and"Aranjuez" in 84. I have to admit I had never even seen our 85 performance until a couple weeks ago, 33 years later. It has triggered many memories of what were some of the best times and people of my life. Can someone please tell me who the conductor is? Could it be the great Tyrone Laval?
Go to the 2018 Alumni Show and pay attention to the Crusaders Senior Drum $ Corps blow away this alumni stuff.....Old school with GROWTH,,,,Yeah tey do not march around but I am there for the music....Small corps of old ..Ha Ha make it big...Biggeer is not better

When I marched here with Garfield and Cabs, stands were three rows high and the GE box was whichever corps had the tallest equipment truck.
