Garbage still is tough as hell! Shirley still sings so well and the guys still play flawlessly. It is a testament to this band that all members are older after all this time but still play just as well as ever. As long as Butch wants to play live Garbage will still rule in concert.
Love the band, have all of their albums (with the very first one on a cassette tape) but WTF is this? The recent album was such a MASSIVE disappointment too (it really sucks badly, which is very painful after >>Strange little birds
I happened to like the band a lot as I was in to alternative rock in my formative years however if you can't sing it anymore, then you should move onto more slower songs. I actually thought this band split up as have heard nothing off the radar for quite sometime.
She had major hip surgery in January. So her movement was NOT as aggressive as we have come to expect from her performances. Nevertheless, considering the severity of her surgery....I give A PLUS here. As for voice quality, I do NOT detect a drop off. And I produce music. So I think its the limited movement that is speaking to you and coming across as loser energy.
