i swear getting hit in the face with a ball while having glasses is one of the most painful things imaginable
I played dodgeball once and someone threw a ball right into my face. 😀 I’ll never forget that day.
After getting hit with a dodgeball and it left a mark on my face thanks to my glasses
And then you're just worried if something happened to your glasses because it's not that easy (at least for me) to find a pair that fits nicely and they are expensive, too.
I am lucky enough to have barely good enough vision without glasses so I can play sports without that fear.
I had friends that used glasses during P.E so I would aim at their legs because replacing/fixing glasses is torture.
I remember that awful day 😃
Because of this dumb pandemic, the combination of online classes, gaming, and other stuff, my eyes are now ruined and I now have glasses. I have joined you 🥲

My eyesight is bad too and I've had glasses for years now but never wore them. I can see well most of the time if what I'm looking at isn't too far away. I've also been using my computer and smartphone a lot. Still not gonna wear my glasses my mom spent a lot of money on years ago lol.
When you take them off and someone asks "how many fingers am I holding up?" Like what the hell. My eyesight might be awful but I can still see your greasy fingers.

The only reason why I stopped wearing my mask once it was allowed was because during the winter, I couldn’t see with my glasses when I was walking in the hall when it was even slightly tired, took a slight huff I instantly did the anime *shine* noise. Anyways I always love re-watching this video. It’s just very funny to look back on even if it’s been a whole long time since he’s posted.

You know when your glasses are really dirty and you clean them and when you put them on it’s suddenly like HD and then like somehow a few seconds later you already have finger prints, dust and dirt on there like how is this even possible! I once had these glasses that had pink on the inside and black on the outside and my friend went “woah reversible glasses” I was done 😂
I need contacts. Glasses suck so bad, especially when you play sports, especially soccer. Hitting the ball with your head is a part of the game, and if it hits the my glasses they are for sure done.
I live in constant mortal terror of accidentally (and permanently) scratching my lenses with a fingernail or t-shirt while trying to clean off the dandruff that sticks to them constantly.
(and no, those tiny shimmy cloths they give you with the glasses are never on hand or clean enough to help)

Struggles:
1. In hot and humid weather- the sweat gets accumulated near your eyes creating a vapour frame on glasses.
2. In rainy season- water droplets covers the whole surface..thank you clouds.
3. In winter season- the fogggggg tantrums..
PS: No weather is suitable for glasses.
The only benefit is I was able to conduct all my stage performances well because..no glasses..no visibility..zero stage fear..😜

You can always just wear contact lenses which makes you see as good or better then a normal person and you don't have as much of a chance of breaking them since you only wear them at night.

Had to put goggles over glasses for science lab
Can't see with regular snorkeling goggles. Insurance won't cover these (only 1 pair of glasse or sports goggles, not both, not waterproof!).
Adjusting them is so important, they can dig into your nose and behind your ears if they aren't bent right.
Pray you have eyes that can accept contacts (mine cannot. My aperture is too small, requiring me to pay extra if i did).
