I like your attitude and mentoring on your videos, fishing is like learning how to play a guitar, it takes practice and patience. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos. Thumbs up, God bless.
Thanks for the videos you put out. My 6 year old son absolutely loves sitting here and watching them with me. We love the variety of fishing you do. He always says I want to fish like Richard Gene does.
Richard, I appreciate everything you do for us viewers!! Every time I watch and learn, I have to get in my and go fishin!! I’m 65 years old and been retired a couple years. I’m a carpenter and love that you share scripture verses with us. Amen brother!!!
Richard, I love your channel! You are, in my book, a great fisherman and teacher. I haven't been creek fishing in a long long time. I'm looking forward to getting out and doing some this year. Thanks again for all you do for us and the sport of fishing. God bless you and your family.
Richard this channel has grown so fast because of what you teach your viewers. You may be a carpenter but you are also one heck of a fisherman. The people watching this love what you are doing.
I am so moved by your videos I’m new to fishing I’m going to hit some creeks up this year I live in oak ridge tn and do mostly bass fishing at watts bar and the the tn river but there is something special about the way you fish I love watching and learning from you god bless your heart tight lines buddy
The Bugz is fantastic...great as a ned rig on the bottom...it you pump the rod as you reel it in ....it looks like a swimming crawdad trying to escape...that will get the hesitant fish to nail it. Its definitely a craw imitation. Set the hook fast ...they suck them down fast to get them into the crushing plates in their throats...if you wait to set the hook they swallow them.
Richard, To avoid shippin' down in that slick mud, find yourself on sale a pair of football, baseball, or soccer shoes. I learned this in high school growing up in the panhandle of Florida, hunting and fishing river bottoms, in the 60s. Logger John.
Richard! Thanks for all of the excitement you bring to us. Do you think those creek bass may have a higher concentration of oxygen? Boy, howdy! That could explain why they fight so hard.
Great video. As always. I grew up fishing creeks and now all the land is posted. I sure do miss it. Brought back a lot of memories of my dad and I catching bass out of potato creek in Georgia. You really do a great kid my friend.
Your correct .he his the best teacher and he doesn’t try to sell garbage tackle . He tells all his secrets .just listen and apply his advice wile your fishing
Man Richard I'm so glad to see you go over 300,000 subs that's awesome man you deserve it you are an amazing fisherman I wish you would hook up with Justin from kayak catfish and do some catfishing you guys would make a awesome team and withdrawal in a lot more subs he said he tried to reach out to you
It was awesome to run into you and Rocky under the bridge today. Already learning so much from these videos. Would love to fish with y’all again one day.
Just loaded up with some Nikko and zman bulletzs. You can catch a lot of fish on just one bait if you use a bait keeper jig hook and are fishing in smaller creeks where if you get snagged you can just walk out and fetch your lure instead of breaking off or cutting your line. Nikko will SAVE you money buying artificial bates in the long run. the competitors and their closest is probably Yum just give you a few more in a package bt you aren't going to get a lot of mileage out of them.
I sure wish there was good creek fishing in my area of Texas. I agree that they fight hard and I love the aesthetics of small stream and creek fishing.
Thanks, Richard, for another great video. Creek fishing can be a lot of fun, sometimes frustrating. Seems to me that bass are usually pretty skittish in creeks. Either way a lot of fun. Channel growing bigger, that's just rewards old friend. God bless you, Richard, for all you do teaching everyone. God bless you and your family, and have a blessed day, my friend.
Your the best fishing teacher in the world .I’ve seen . 90% of your videos over the years But never leave comment ,😢 cause there is nothing to be added to your teachings 😂
That mean mouth was gorgeous!! That loop knot def gives it better action…good call. Thanks for taking us with ya on this trip. God bless you too 🤙🏼🇺🇸🤙🏼
I just picked up a couple of packs of those Zman Bugz baits last week, I can't wait to try them out, they look great!!! God bless you Richard, thank you!!!
Both those baits work really well up here in Ontario, Canada!! I've used them Ned rigged like you and I've used the Zman bugs on drop shot rigs as well. Great video!! Thanks!!
I don't buy TRD but those little 3" beaver style baits are the cat's meow for spotted bass on lakes as well. I need to try the TRD. They are probably worth the money just on longevity. Always love your videos.
thanks richard for another good creek video ,me and my daddy when i was growing up use to go out to short creek and taint much damn and walk way back upthe creeks and fish. i miss that with my dad ,most kids will never have that experience and dont know what they are missing. talk to you later buddy
What a nice bass hole LOL besides the joke I noticed you said you're using a black hellgrammite I've always used a black small spinnerbait and slow roll it in them Creeks especially when the water's cold and the fish are not as active you'll get them every time
Nice fish Gene. I think fish like bass, are good eating, between 2-4 pounds. Tasty! I always found that bigger fish, like 7-8 pounds or more, get to tasting more like the water they live in, than a tasty fish. Some real nice bass there Gene! Thanks for taking us along! Say "Hi," to Mamma Sue!
I’m always hoping I’ll bump into you in a bass pro shop or something like that… It would make my year to meet the man, the myth, the legend himself…😂 Keep on, keeping on RGTFM…
That's right Fish'n Machine ... Increase !!! You're a genius Richard Gene...Thank you.
