Being a Ford Apprentice, I have always loved these cars, proper working class hero, I have had 2 Series 1s, and one Series 2. Keep your Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, my dream car would be either a Ford Focus RS mk 1 or an Escort Cosworth. 👍 If you need the money sell it, I think keep it standard is always best.
That's a seriously cool car and I absolutely get what it means to you. They ARE more than just metal and plastic. I'm into my Mustangs (but love all Fords) and taking them on road trips, to meets, to shows.......they create memories with friends and family to last a lifetime. Oh, and you live on my favourite island. Can't wait to bring one of my Mustangs over on our family holiday at the end of July. I'll be making more memories!
I’m just wondering if in 10 years cars like these will even be allowed in the UK public highway and not be relegated to collections and private land only. There’s a plan in action with the Government and diesel/ petrol isn’t in it.
@@Buck3366 I think in 10 years people who drank the EV kool-aid will realise they've been had. Petrol and diesel won't go anywhere in 10 years - it might cost a bit more to run but EV are simply not the answer for the majority of people - the infrastructure won't support it for starters.
@@jamesevans6335 For now. It’s only the same as 4 star petrol cars. They were outlawed and leaded fuel ceased and older cars had to be converted to unleaded or went to the museum or scrapyard. It was deemed too polluting and you only have to think when everything IS all electric they can very easily call time on internal combustion cars being allowed on the roads at all and use the environmental card to outlaw them. I will never underestimate the Government.
I would say keep her, but then look at a s2 rs cheaper only going up in value get a nice 90spec I wish I never sold mine bro, plus money in the bank for another toy

There will always be demand for this car but it's not about the money. Unless you replace it with something special no point selling it
