Hello ..Glad I came back and watched the video again..I got the first two bolts off and pulled the heat shear back..Forgot the sensor had another bolt ..Will finish the next day..Thanks for helping this 60 year old Senior out..I did get under the car better spot
Thank you so much for this video..I have a 2016 dodge Journey..I will be changing it out my self..I had just did an oil change..So I no the location from under the car ..thanks again
@@TheBlackAztec3 Yeah...I guess I did...lol. That comes from working late and staying up later watching all these great vids. I have been looking for DIY spots here in Phoenix and just keep coming up empty. So, consider yourself blessed.
@@BlacktoppPerformanceI have the same problem. I replaced it, but it won’t start. It turns over (starter runs for about 10 seconds), but never fires. I guess I need to relearn the sensor(s), but I don’t have the device to do it. Now I need to tow it to a shop.
@@illrapforever I know what he said he's replacing, but that's the location of the camshaft sensor. I replaced mine about a week before I made that comment and that's where it was.
This is crank sensor location on the 2.4 engine. Po335 code. I just replaced mine for the 2nd time within 1k miles because I bought spectra premium instead of mopar the 1st time. Make sure to only get mopar sensor if changing. These things eat aftermarket parts.
@@BlacktoppPerformance o ok cool. i’m am trying to figure out what is going on with my digital gauge my ditigal fuel level says it’s low but the regular one is accurate. any clue?

I'm so glad the video is a help to you, and I'm happy to hear you are doing the work yourself rather than pay a mechanic hundreds of dollars.

Good job, wish I had the place to do it myself. Thanks !~!!
Yeah, me too. Sucks not being able to work on your own stuff.

Thanks man
Did your car start after you change the crank shaft position censored because I changed mine and my car still wouldn't start what could the problem be
Yes it started right up. Does yours crank over at all? Did you clear the codes? Sometimes you have to relearn the new sensor sometimes you don't.

This is the camshaft position sensor.
Not on this 2.4l engine for the dodge. He is replacing the crankshaft sensor

what code was it displaying. I keep getting P1D83 and P0117
I actually didn't scan it or get the code. The lady got it scanned at an autozone and I just did the work for her.

@smoovcarter897 Not off hand I'm afraid. That's actually a new one to me, sorry
@@BlacktoppPerformance lol thanks anyway
