The hoard testing was really fun despite the ping a low fps in some parts, raptor will finally get the attention it deserves!

Nice video. When you said the steg swung far from you, it was actually way closer than you think. At 16:57, if you go frame by frame, you'll see the tip of his thagomizer came inches away from you. The end was messed up, though.

17:38 nah you were IN that one, I guess it just took a second for the server to realize that you were supposed to be dead. I was on the opposite side of that story just yesterday where I bit a Teno and a second later it died.

I've run a few times with Turd Ferguson if it's the same player.
Man I hope I meet up with y'all someday you guys look like a lot of fun. I'm tired of running with packs that are either too scared to take fights I know we can win or too dumb to back away from fights we're losing. Over the last week I've been running with tons of Raptor packs and in almost every first fight we do, half the pack dies to recklessness and the rest end up running away and splitting up. The first fight after every meet up, every single time, more than half the pack disappears and its usually me alone or with one other and the process starts over. I don't mind playing solo but when I play omni I prefer a pack and competent players.
Keep an eye out, I'll be around on raptor again soon!

I always just use GeForce experience honestly. The shadow play feature makes for really easy recording after something happens

Yeah horde test is absolutely unplayable today. I tried. My cerato got knocked over by a teno passing gas 35 yards away and died to a stego wafting the gas in my general direction
Seeing the expected death to a Stego swinging "in some general direction" I really think the game would be about 2000% better if Stego swings did not in fact cover an entire continent and instead had to be aimed and actually hit something for it to do damage.
Ofc that will never happen, Stego will continue to attack in a general direction and anything somewhat-possibly-maybe-in-some-cases in the vicinity of their current location will die just as it has always been.
Yeah, it's incredibly frustrating. Stegos are rewarded for playing erratically and swinging wildly. Latency and desync reward the larger playables and heavily punish the smaller ones. I keep hoping for something to change, but we're still here unfortunately
hey i just hope they focus on getting the fps better so they can eventually add to the max player capacity because i feel 100 players max is boring on officials (hate rules servers)
Hard agree. Performance needs to improve heavily so that cap can increase and still be playable.

sure, the video is nice. but i couldnt help but notice that they went out of their way to heart as many comments and reply to as many comments as possible, which is real nice
Edit 1:30 sometimes running away can make your enemy majorly overconfident. you can use this to bait them into giving you free hits or getting into an area with more enclosed or in more open spaces to gain the advantage

I watched a nappn video recently of exactly this strategy. I can't recall if it was 2 or 3 ceratos v his 1, but the flee and ambush gave him the advantage he needed to win. Very impressive tactic when executed well
That pounce latency is so Freaking.. you would think by this fucking point dondi would of fixed his game.. i remmber Legacy isle when raptor had pounce they also had problems.. they had to remove pounce all together....... now it's still janky af :(
Yeah, it's kind of horrendous. It's the entire reason I very seldom use pounce anymore
@@dinometta YEa it's not very worth it... Raptor feels so weak in it's current state... needs buff. Can barely feed it self. and then if you hunt in a large enough pack.... not enough food cause you gotta split it with 3980549857 raptors.. SHAKES FISTS! 1st world problems
I've got to say I'm not a fan of omni just phasing through stegos tail spikes/plates to pounce and latch from behind.
