I had hoped to get a solution from BMW that 1. is weatherproof 2. protects the smartphone 3. enables simple and smart navigation. But it fails much earlier: the device doesn't even turn on when you switch on the ignition the next morning. You always have to take the device out of the holder and keep the button pressed for 15 seconds - EVERY DAY. That's not smart.
Looks super nice! I just got the Nav 6 which I already had with my other bike, but this one looks pretty sweet, gonna be watching the mods you do, because I might have to copy you😜
@igoraugustosouza1389 they are free. As far as I can see, you do not ever need to pay for map updates. But I can't know 5 years from now if they'll require payment for ongoing support

It has nice functionality but i feel it is very expensive for what it is.
Does it work with internet or a gps signal inside ?
GPS signal and cell service if you have it
