Thank you!!! FINALLY A CRAFTER SETUP THAT WORKS. First i tried do it myself with a basic few diffrent setup, but it didn't work. After that i tried a few others that didn't work, but finally, yours did! Thanks
Im glad other people were able to get help from this, but for me the video had way too many cuts to be able to fallow along on what was being placed where.
Omg thank you sooo much dude when it comes to villager trading I'm great at getting the materials but paper is the only one that's a pain in the butt you really helped thank you so much
Broken with new update. Left most comparetor: two parallel lights on. Right comperator: three light on Repeater: two lights on. Only when i remove the stone block behind the comperator or next to chect and place it again it works for one tick. can you help?
at 7:19 you placed a comparator next to that chest that should have paper being sent into it. But there is another comparator next to it (on top of the block that it is sending a signal to). Is that part of the overflow protection, or is it a preexisting piece of your redstone contraption from the sugarcane farm?
the size of the chest shouldn't matter at all, in fact I expanded mine to a double chest in my video. If you expand the chest and shorten the redstone, that may affect things. You need the redstone to be the proper lengths so that the redstone signal to stop the hopper reaches it only when full. It's difficult to help without pics. feel free to join the discord for help discord.gg/jangro
yeah, I'm in a new location for the summer and I'm still working on getting things right. different computer, different mic, my room is echoey and my keyboard is too noisy. It's hard to get audio dialed in :/
For some reason my crafter isn’t pausing it is just staying lit up and not crafting anything other than the initial 3 paper, any tips on what could have gone wrong ?
As far as I can reckon, all you can do really is to automate the mud brick crafting once you have semi-automated the mud, which doesn’t change in 1.21. You still need to break the mud blocks by hand.
Hey! Check to make sure the comparator is in subtraction mode, and otherwise check all the redstone. If the comparator is triggering so early, that comparator must not be configured properly.
@@jangrogames Thanks. Yeah, I remade it a few times and I couldn't get it to work so I gave up on the overflow but the crafting works fine. The comparator is not lit on first try when it is empty then when it crafts paper, it lights up, but when i take the paper out, it still stays lit. I'm fine with it for now. Thanks!!
I didn't do that in this video, obviously, but you could connect the restone that turns off the hopper to the redstone line that triggers the pistons. That would force them to stop operating.
It's hard to say without seeing it, but make sure you have the crafter configured properly to have the three in a row slots open. Also make sure the redstone line from the crafter's comparator isn't the wrong length or touching other redstone.
You can just copy the farm laterally or extend it as many times as you want and expand the rails. You will just have banks of 15 observers and pistons since a redstone signal only goes 15 blocks.
Hey! IDK, something's not stopping the sugarcane from entering the crafter! If you want to post screenshots in my discord, I'd be happy to take a look. It's hard to help in youtube comments! discord.gg/jangro
Hey! It’s difficult to say without seeing it. But it’s most likely that the redstone isn’t quite set up properly. Check to make sure you have the proper lengths and nothing is touching the wrong thing.
If it only fired once, make sure the crafter that shoots into the output chest only has 1 sugarcane in each of the 3 slots you have available on it. My crafter had full stacks of sugarcane in each slot and only fired once (like yours) but then I took all the stacks out and only put 1 in each slot and it works now!
This is tough to debug and explain in a comment, but the way the redstone works is that the comparator only generates a signal to craft it all the slots are full. If it's set up for paper, that's three sugar cane. Then it crafts, empties, and that empty event causes the redstone signal to drop so it creates a pulse when it fills up again. If it's overfull, it won't ever empty, and the redstone signal will always be on and not cause the next pulse. Then the hopper will just continue to fill it up. If it gets overful, empty everything manually, and then put more sugarcane in the input chest. That should allow it to reset. If even then it's not working, then I'd guess there's some misconfigured redstone somewhere. Feel free to drop into my discord to post pics if that'll help. discord.gg/jangro

@@KristjanHinno170 well that’s the way it works. The redstone pulses when it goes from 1 1 1 to empty. If it gets filled up it just won’t work. That’s what the redstone around back to the hopper controls.
The Crafter is a great addition to any farm! What are you going to do with it?

the second comparator I placed is the overflow protection. The first one is to make the crafter work properly.
How can you see the power different red stone components are giving ? Is it a mod or something ?
There are mods that show you information like this, such as Jade. Otherwise, you just need to run a line of redstone out and count.

any suggestion on how to make my crafter going into the double chest auto craft? I followed the video but unsure what’s messing up

It's got to be either the crafter internal configuration or the redstone. It's hard to say without seeing it though.
Do we have to do the overflow protection
Hey! Overflow protection is always a good idea, especially if you're on a server. That's left as an exercise to the viewer :)

The chest with the paper seems to light up the Redstone lamp even with 3 paper in it and can’t figure out why. Anyone now what may cause this? Thanks!
Don’t even bother this farm is complete garbage just use JC playz

mine doesnt do it. it worked once when i put the final block beside the crafter but then it just collects in the crafter
there must be something not right with the redstone

mine still spits out paper even when the chest is full, double checked the redstone twice
