- I nearly backed over my lawn mower. For you kids out there this is a prime example of why you shouldn't UA-cam and Farm. We also said goodbye to our Thunder Creek Fuel Trailer today.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

"Spread those wings . . . Fly!" Nearly spit my coffee out on that one. Brilliant!
Yep, I learned not to eat or drink while watching farm YT, just never know.
Nice one
😂
Hey Zach thanks for having me out! Typical Tuesday night
Did u and Zach have fun playing lol!?
Can’t wait for the podcast.
Very typical. Nothing worth talking about happened. Not one funny story lol.
Future funny podcast material
Millennial Farmer after the side by side has four flat tires, there’s new holes in the grain bin and nobody can figure out why the sprayer has a ski rope tied to the back of it.
I love how the Thunderrr trailer is totaly modified with MF colors and logos !
We've got to take care of our guy!
Thunder Creek Equipment Thunderrrrrr
i think he didn´t even noticed that there is a of the husk logo on the light tower xDD
Didn't know I had that many feelings for a piece of equipment owned by a guy thousands of miles away. Gonna miss that old Thunderrr
Can’t believe a farming UA-cam has 580k that’s so awesome
Please can we get Jim on off the husk
That was cool seeing Brian show up, Thanks for all you do for the farming industry. I listened to a couple of the off the husk episodes while sitting in the tractor this weekend. Good luck with the harvest.
Wait, I just literally noticed NESSA put on the THUNDERRR. That's awesome.
Little trick we use for not getting hydraulic lines mixed up is colored nylon/ zip ties on the tractor and hydraulic hoses.
Have to update my farm in Farming Simulator 19 now.. sad to see Thunder go, but glad to see the upgrades!
Great to see you guys back on the screen, and I’m actually looking at Brian’s Farming videos occasionally as well. Here in Sweden the harvest is in full swing!
I just watched ALL of the videos from the start. Took me about a week. Thank you for all you do and giving me tractor envy. My little JD 1025R just doesn’t stack up but I’m only farming 5 acres to sell locally.
Mr. and Mrs. Millennial, you're nearly at 600,000 subs - MN proud! We haven't seen your Dad as much lately, Zack...
I thought you used the angle grinder to take off your filters?
Best video ever on UA-cam 😂🤣🤣
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember that i laughed so hard
Nice to see Onyx helping out around the farm. Also I was about to ask the same question about the dogs as Zack answered why.
Love seein onyx at work with ya. My boy will be 4 in 3 weeks. And it’s crazy how much he helps me out when we’re working. I’m a firm believer of kids learning from being a hand to their dad or papas.
Passed a thunderrrr creek trailer on the highway the other day and said “thunderrrr” I got some weird looks from the copilot
When ya know, ya know!
@@ThunderCreekEq I probably won't ever have a use for your equipment, but I greatly appreciate a company that has a sense of humor and supports my entertainment. Thanks guys!
Thunder Creek Equipment have you guys though about making tanks for trucks? I’d love a thunder creek for the back of my pickup, to fuel my Deere
Hey Zach I’m a diesel mechanic and something that we do when changing filters is puncture a small hole in the bottom of the filter and let it drain out before we unscrew the filter that way you don’t make a bug mess just thought I’d share it with you as I saw you were making a mess. Good video!
That new thunderrrr creek is sweet
Oh yeah!
I got in trouble for watching this while in school
Worth it
respect man, you got ur priorities right :)
@@robertlonsdale3826 lol
I love that I’ve watched him since like 80k and to see equipment get Gabe to him to show us is dope because I know he never thought it would be at that point
Some how I knew u were getting a better fuel tank sure is cool to see u and Brian together
Thunderrr looks awesome! That trailer looks super handy. Looking forward to seeing in action!
My in-laws live in Pella IOWA so we drive by Thunderrr manufacturing every time we visit them! Awesome looking trailers and always a spotless manufacturing plant.
Stop by sometime, Tim! Tell them The Millenial Farmer sent you!
Dear Mrs and Mr Millenial Farmer. Its great to see a slow induction of your son into the bussiness. Its awesome that you have got the customized Millennial Farmer Thunderrrr Creek Nessa. Keep up the great work with both The channel and OTH Podcast. I am having a blast watching and listening to the content of both. Greetings from Ireland for you, your kids, cats, dogs and parents.
Mr Millennial you definitely have one of the most awesome farms I have ever seen in a long while you definitely have something to be very proud of sharp looking equipment and that thunder fuel wagon is sweet you are definitely Top Notch sir love the videos can’t wait to see ya harvest videos have a safe and blessed day to you and ya family 👍👍👍
Good luck with the upcoming harvest, stay safe! We are a few weeks away from harvest here in the Texas panhandle. We were just about to kick off with some wheat planting but the weather decided other wise. We had a major cold front come through and it’s been raining the last two days with temps in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. Then it’s suppose to jump back up into the 70’s and 80’s by the end of the week.
Dang!! Thunderrr must really like Zach. They painted his logo, they gave him a light, and then they gave it to him again!!
Yes, yes, yes, and yes.
Thunder Creek Equipment THUNDERRRRR
I really enjoy watching your posts. Farming has changed a lot since I helped my Dad farm.
You and Larson Farms have the best videos. No click bait, just genuine good videos. Thank you!
I bet you never thought Brian from “Brian’s Farming Videos” would never leave!
Lol, It was great to see Brian. Cool guy!
Only thing that fuel trailer is missing is a battery charger.......😂😂😂
🤣🤣
Chargerrr!
@@schafn with this, it has to come with some 440 big block..
You wouldnt want to be waiting your batterys charging for too long right..
I enjoy the Off The Husk podcast!!! Informative, educational and funny all rolled in one!!!
We need to see the new boat.
I love the new THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR creek trailer! Was sad to see the old one go, but I am pretty sure that this one will help ease the pain!
Very cool to plug Brain, not the first time you have and it’s probably a big big deal for him 👍🏻
Rhiannon (sp?) has to fix her handle bars. They're pulled back too far and need to form a straight line with or be very slightly forward of the forks but don't go all Chicago-style.
Signed,
My former BMX racer daughter
The other question for farmers: has anyone ever backed over anything with their rowgator because forward is reverse and reverse is forward?
Glad to be a part of your subscribers to help you out on getting the equipment. Love the logos and your dry humor... Wouldn't miss it for the world.....
zach: im sad its gone 10 seconds: later oh yeah, I got a custom one
holy crap zach liked
I don’t think it’s a demo with how custom it is with the logo and all that so is it a permanent addition
@@codeyshively4097 i really hope not i doubt it is a demo though
@@codeyshively4097 You would be correct, sir!
Thunder Creek Equipment it is beautiful and very handy! A great piece of equipment you make there!!

Up here by ulen Minnesota were combineing beans this week good luck on harvest !
Love the new Thunder Creek trailer. Nice. I understand totally what you said about Anna in the tractor. Some dogs just are too hyper.
Let's get Brian up to 400k subs people. He has awesome videos!!!! I subbed about a week or so ago...doing a lot of catch up! You are both awesome thanks for the great content! Edit: Brian's Farming Videos!
Nice to see your son helping out in a maintenance job. Real educational...future farmer. 🍁😎
Man can't wait for harvest, dude Zach that fuel trailer is the Cadillac of fuel trailers, thanks for the crop tour, keep er between the rows. 🌽
Good too see the boy in the shop with you!
I really enjoy watching your channel you got an awesome family and an awesome Farm Keep On Keepin On
Excited for harvest to come!
our crops are yellow down by us in Wisconsin, were almost ready for harvest!!!!!!!
By October first we gonna be goin hard in the fields! Can’t wait!!!
Cool to see Brain on yours, saw you on his the other day. Too funny.
That's a sick looking custom fuel trailer.
I like the design.
That is a beautiful thunder wagon it is a beautiful thing enjoy Zach lol
Well in Mississippi we started corn harvest today
That is one sweet trailer! You might mistake those big light for thunerrr flashes in the night
I thought for sure Jim was sneaking down to dump that filter on ya, lol. Can't wait for the OFF THE HUSK PODCAST 🌾 with Brian! 😎👍 〽️
Oh My Gosh that was funny with Brian and the why of the no dogs in the tractor. As always very good and yes the 3 Rs is perfect!!!!
I was looking at the Thunder Creek site and on the rear beside the air compressor one customer has installed a grease pump so you can grease the equipment while in the field.
You bet! It's a fairly popular option for our Utility Box configurations.
If there's one implement on the Johnson farm I like most, it's the deep bander just because of the ingenuity of hooking an air cart to a plow and running fertilizers through it. Something I would wanna do if I had my own farm
Coming back from a week vacation in Myrtle Beach and saw corn and beans being harvested in Kentucky and lower Indiana. Our acreage has a bit longer to go.
You guys got the thunderrr addition
Last week I was envious of your head now I'm envious our your fuel trailer... watching this is getting bad for my health.
love the way you got the farm logo on the new fuel trailer i never come across them here in little ol england nice work love the channel
It's cool to see you and Brian in a video together you guys do a great job with your videos
Nice Thunderrr trailer. Awesome, looking forward to seeing trailer in use.
I love it!! Awesome video Farmer
Thanks for another fine video. I was behind on watching this one. I've been watching Brian's channel a good while as well.
Very nice video, thank you.
I love watching your channel alot every day and every night u are awesome UA-camr and say safe and healthy with your family i hope this will get better soon 😀keep making awesome videos
We put a bright colored zip tie around the end on the inflow hydraulic hose on all our equipment, then we know which way to hook them up too the tractor and don’t have the issue of them being backwards. Just a little tip for another Farmer.
To stop the corrosion from fertilizer use baking powder we used to pull a Rosen cart in from of our con planter and for 15 years we had very little problem with corrosion and now we use it in anything we put fertilizer in and another good thing to try is spray it down witch high Tran oil It really stops corrosion from fertilizer and manure
Love the new thunder trl with your logo on it. It's awesome to see you getting Onyx involved with helping you. I good way to keep your hyd.hoses in the right remote Zach is take the 2 that go in the 1st remote put one zip tie around both hoses and then the left hose that goes in the left remote put a zip tie on the left hose then the 2nd remote put 2 zip ties around both hoses and one around the hose that goes into the left side and do the same for 3 remote's and hoses the left hose always has a zip tie and goes in the left side of the remote. You should watch Andy on UA-cam channel Farm Fixing and Fabrication he has 2 daughters under 16 and they drive truck, tractor and even a chopper and blow whatever they are harvesting into a truck on the side on the go. And he has a son Andrew who is around 10 and can drive about anything and is a farm encyclopedia on 2 feet it is a Awesome channel to watch besides yours and the Welkers
Thunder needs a beer cooler. You forgot to order that option.
Simple field install, tbh.
Keep up the good work great content
A couple of the larger farmers in my area have gone to having their own fuel trucks, the kind that usually delivers fuel to your farm. My buddy said when the crops are heavy they couldn't keep up with fuel, 5 S790 drinking 700-1000 Litres, so they dumped the slip tanks, got rid of the experiment trailer and bought a tandem axle fuel truck off the Co-op.
A good year for crops. In Deleware we have real good corn and soy beans are up over waist high.
Awesome video thanks for sharing 💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍
Lightning may not hit the same spot twice, but I guess thunder does!
Love the decals on this one.
Yeah I must say Zack u got your shit together on that huge operation!!!!!
This was a great tutorial how to change filters.
I would have a special hell for designers who put filters where you cannot easily get a drain tray under them. And surely it is about time that a better securing system was developed so strain or outright violence (see earlier video) is not needed. Ditto hydraulic hoses which can be connected the wrong way round.
Love the colab videos!
Beautiful 🌽 🌾 an that young man working best video of week hard work pays off
Hello, I put a clear flat plastic sheet behind the filters down and away from tractor parts and redirect them to a collector, so not do make a big mess, you do spill a little diesel anyway, but the tractor stays much cleaner.
Saying "thunderrr" twice a video was obviously totally worth it 🤣
Not the lawn mower!!! that’s the most important thing on a farm.
If it was a Craftsman he probably would have driven over it. It is green but not JD green.
Cant mess up the mower thats how you put your wife to work on you take off and have fun lol
a deere all most ran over the deere lol
mow the lawn with the bat wing!
Nope. Coffee maker is THE best and most important.
The new thunder is awesomeeeee, that trailer and the service truck hooked together is a pretty sweet set up you should wrap the truck to match
I come from the future, fear not, THUNDER is a regular and we love when Zach says it.
Wow love Tunderrr ..I Sent this video to our shop guys..
need to tap a drain into the bottom of those fuel filter housings.
You got them in early and there good and deep
The last 5 seconds of your videos are the best.
Get a boot scraper that goes on the hitch. A guy was selling them at Louisville farm show. Pretty nice. Has a flat bar on one side to scrap mud off and rubber cleaner deal on other side to clean out the cleats.
Waiting to see your new 8320 Rt since last 2 videos hello from Australia
Great video like always man
That light tower is brighter than any tractor lights you will see lol at least the one on our tank is
YOU LOVE TO HEAR IT!
Very clever (CONSTANT) glimpses of more Green...
Arrggh!
Just reveal the damn thing already!
I always put a zip tie on the left hose. Never hook them up wrong again.
Sweet off the husk decal on the light tower.
